People of Newcastle: has a new wrestling shop opened in the city centre? I've just walked across Eldon Square and there's a shop window full of Cena t-shirts, Mysterio masks and replica belts.

Surely that would answer your question…? :p

In more seriousness, yes, but I don’t know too much about it. Newcastle used to have a wrestling store, but it closed down after not long.

Newcastle seems to constantly have wrestling shops springing up. They never seem to last long now though. I don't know if it's the same person/people repeatedly trying and failing to set up a thriving business selling wrestling stuff or if Newcastle just happens to have loads of people with the same dream and not much aptitude for it.

Former forum member, wrestling manager and Big Brother contestant Luke Marsden was on Judge Rinder today. Still a twat.

I can only think of two (including this new one) in the past 10 years.

We had a wrestling shop in my college town in 98-2000. He got Jakks and Bend Ems in of guys we didn't know had toys yet because they weren't in Woolies. For some reason the fact there was a Jakks figure of Dr Death meant I had to buy it. A nice chunk of fat bearded wrestler in an outfit that looked a bit like a vest on top of red bermuda shorts, like your dad on his holidays. The bloke that ran it was called Scott and every birthday or Christmas me and my mates looked forward to spending a load of money in "dodgy Scott's shop." He was always bullshitting us that a crate of green Hasbros was on its way - they never came. Although he did have a "Hulkaplex" Hogan in the red leotard on the top shelf, but he wanted 50 quid for it. If I had a job at the time, I might have been dumb enough to pay it.

There's loads of them Dr Deaths in the toy shop in Sunderland to this day. Gangrel as well. Seems like they couldnt give them away and they are still collecting dust 16 years later.

I always thought Cesaro would be a good fit for The Authority as Jason Statham type hired gun, doesnt say much (hides his weakness) and gets the job done in the ring (what he's good at),

Same with Barrett, a mix of guys against Ziggler, Reigns etc would be better and maybe freshen up the endless 6man tags

Kane and Show have been painful to watch for months and dont really show signs of leaving

Yeah, The Authority can do the promo work while Cesaro stands in the background, of course, but we saw with Heyman that such a thing may not help him at all.
