You could tell that Blackman was just legit hard As a kid I hated Steve Blackman because he was dead tough and always beat the shit out of my faves. He left Shamrock a bloody mess more than once. Same reason that I hated the Acolytes. Always knocking poor Xpac around.

Imagine the press it would get? The jokes that people would make. I honestly think if there was a riot at a WWE PPV over a finish of a match, it would get torn to shreds by every talk show host in the world. Mainstream people were pissing themselves when Undertaker's big entrance went wrong. When something so obviously ridiculous goes tits up, it'll catch on with the mainstream because its a cheap laugh. Wouldn't imagine there would be much damage done if they did decide to kick off. Slagging off footage of those Wrestlemania live events in pubs with groups watching "that fake shite" is an annual occurrence on my Facebook feed. Can only imagine what sort of stick a riot would get.

Bret Hart supposedly refused to do it if Bruce was involved. Think about that, your own brother. They did for a very short while. Jarrett smacked Ahmed with a gold disc for his album ( or some other nonsense) at In Your House in December 95, which then lead to the match at the rumble. Paid Members garynysmon Posted January 23, 2015 Paid Members Posted January 23, 2015 Although the angle obviously wouldn't have worked anywhere near as well as it did with Owen, I thought Bruce had a genuine point in his autobiography when he said that Owen already had a steady job with the WWF so Bret essentially cost him a decent run and all the cash that comes with it, just to be a dick about it. I think he ended up working a few shows though, tagging with Bret against Owen and the Bulldog until Davey Boy signed with the WWF around Summerslam of that year.

(Starcade 83, Starcade 84, WMI, the Wrestling Classic Starcade 85 etc). I watched Wrestlemania 2 last night. At the end of the tag title match, I love how Davey Boy is selling his injuries, Dynamite is either legit hurt or doing the ultimate sell job, meanwhile Ozzy Osbourne and Lou Albano are running around the ring posing with the tag title belts. This just pips Cathy Lee Gifford’s earlier line on commentary during the match “Look at Osbourne, he’s so nervous he’s shaking” for unintentional comedy gold. I know I’m used to the gloss and slickness of modern WWE, but damn, that PPV was a mess. Technical errors, miscommunications and long awkward pauses. Im struggling to think of one i'd rather watch less than this one. Possibly WM2000, but at least it had Head Cheese. Don't anyone go saying WM9 either, because that's just lies, it was awesome.
