TildeGuy~!
Is Todd Grisham still employed by WWE? Â I say this because I was watching LA Galaxy/New York Red Bulls on ESPN last night and he was doing the coverage. Edited August 15, 2010 by TildeGuy~! Bring Back Minipops
Ive been watching some WCW today from around '98 and was wondering what the origins of Lodi coming out with signs was? Â Was this something Bischoff seen Sign Guy Dudley doing and decided to copy? Or was there another reason?
The King Of Swing
No idea if this has been asked so apologies in advance. Â Anyway on the old VHS release of the 1989 Survivor Series Barry Windham is on the back cover as a member of one of the teams (forget which team) but for some reason does not appear on the show at all. Â Anyone know what the score is with that? all I know for sure is that he was in the WWF at around that time.
RepoMan
From his Wikipedia page: Â "World Wrestling Federation, second run (1989) Windham returned to the WWF in 1989 as the Widowmaker. Despite the nickname, Windham did not change his image much, portraying a heel cowboy type character. The Widowmaker was to have been on Randy Savage's Survivor Series team, but he left the company due to undisclosed personal reasons. Windham's father and brother were actually getting ready to go to jail on counterfeiting charges so he asked the WWF for his release. He was replaced by Earthquake in the match. On March 16, 1990, he attempted to challenge AJPW Triple Crown champion Jumbo Tsuruta, but was defeated."

Just checked in the Observer from the time, and Windham didn't compete on the show as he was still recovering from having a tumor removed from his chest.  The interesting bit is that he had been missing shows for two months leading up to the event, but Titan continued to advertise him knowing full well he wouldn't be able to compete on the show. He was scheduled to be a member of Randy Savage's King's Court, but ended up being replaced by the Canadian Earthquake.
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted August 16, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted August 16, 2010 How come when Goldberg's on a WWE dvd they dub his theme with the shit WWE version, but when he's on Vintage collection they let him have his original theme?. Is there more royalty money to be paid for when it's dvd?.

Paid Members eugenespeed Posted August 16, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted August 16, 2010 Was ECW the first promotion to put on shows at Viking Hall? Â I know it became synonymous with them, becoming known as the ECW Arena, but, were they the first there?

thejeffjarrettone
What do UKFFers think would have happened if Eric Bischoff had managed to buy WCW?
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 16, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted August 16, 2010 What do UKFFers think would have happened if Eric Bischoff had managed to buy WCW? You should really start a thread about that. Seems like an interesting discussion (especially considering how we've seen Eric Bischoff help run TNA in 2010).
