But yeah, Morgan has played a blinder in all the clips I've seen, the one where he asks Brand what his favourite bible verse and then sits in silence for an excruciating two minutes is so funny. Its very "I'd have to say the best of the Bible"

Annoyingly, Piers Morgan can be very good sometimes. Leaving that silence in the air and giving a Tim from The Office look to the camera. I’ve seen a couple of interviews now where he’s done that. Great stuff.

He's a horrid gobshite, BUT not a thicko and occasionally he has that broken clock moment usually twice a year where as @Chest Rockwell says, he's a muckraker and canny enough to let a bigger piece of shit have enough rope. I guess it's a little 'not all heroes wear capes' and more 'occasionally a cunt will do a 'good' deed.

It also fills the once or twice a year schedule for people to post about him stating 'I don't agree/like Piers Morgan. But...' quota.

Amazingly funny to watch though, the sound of the pages turning was excruciating.

If you’re going to pretend to be a Christian, which Brand definitely is doing, you must know that someone is going to ask you at some point “what’s your favourite verse/book” or whatever, have a couple in the chamber ready to go. The same thing happened to Trump a few years ago in an interview with some group, and he couldn’t muster anything from what is supposedly his “favourite book”
