Saw CM Punk is gonna be inducting the Bret Hart vs Steve Austin match into the Hall Of Fame. It’s fine but I think it would’ve been cooler and more fitting if they’d have got Ken Shamrock in for that. With the painted on referee shirt for old times sake.

Just watched McCool doing her speech / lecture. She performed after I stopped watching the product, interested to hear people on here's opinion of her work /contribution to the biz?

She was the worse half of a pretty fun midcard act in LayCool. Didn't have a single memorable match ever. No one even noticed when she retired and no one thought about her at all until she was announced for the Hall of Fame. Basically a complete non-entity in wrestling history to be honest.

Yeah, I hate saying it, but her induction has to be a favour to Undertaker. I hate it because you should never reduce a woman to a prop in her husbands life, but it's the only way she's got in. She's absolutely useless, and failed to elicit any real emotion from a fucking Hall of Fame speech.

Felt bad for Lex and DDP. Sounds like they intended him to do a big walk to the podium, but he had a fall earlier in the day.

I find award ceremonies generally cringey and hard to watch in all walks of life and the WWE HOF is no different. 

It's certainly not easy to get up on stage and be sincere, engaging and entertaining. Felt Shawn Michaels was the most natural up there on the podium. Triple H as I type is also coming across brilliantly - like a shoot interview within a speech. Loving it.

Creasing at this. Bret moving in twice to get a closer look, as if to say, “that’s not jam-up enough to be me”…

Also when they were cracking beers at the end of the speech and Austin and Pat McAfee were spilling theirs all over the gaff, I noticed Bret was very careful with his. Didn’t waste a fucking drop. Proper beer drinker.

Still think it should’ve been Shamrock inducting them, and obviously Sting should’ve inducted Lex, but I get why they went with Punk and DDP.

Only seen snippets of the rest. Can’t really be doing with all the self fellatio on these things and that Heyman induction last year (was it last year?) or whenever it was killed me off with it reeking of his self obsession and delusions of grandeur, as well as reeking of BO, no doubt. But I had to see the Bret, Austin and Lex bits. Really happy to see Lex go in while he’s still with us.
