So I reckon it's FTR/Bucks/C&C Music Factory for All In maybe, chuck in the Hurt Business and a TLC stip too. I suspect I’m in the minority here, but I’ve loved every match The Bucks and FTR have had together, and would happily sign up for more of the same. Also, Hurt Syndicate vs FTR really appeals to me as a feud/match. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted March 21, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted March 21, 2025 Yeah I've enjoyed most the FTR/Bucks matches together. Even the ladder match was good. I don't know why that'd be the minority. The match at Wembley in particular was excellent. I'm pretty certain we're getting Cope/Cage vs FTR at All In Texas. Cope is best mates with FTR in real life too so I'd imagine he'd push for it. Reckon well also get the Hurt Business vs the Bucks. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted March 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 21, 2025 Cracking episode I thought. Except for *that* spot, too much for me there. I loved in the opener OC arguing with the ref that it was a 2 count, not a 1. Pointless, silly, totally in keeping. I approve. Quote

A lot of people seem to dislike FTR on here - I think, on the back of the Dax Harwood podcast, which I’ve not listened to myself, if it’s even still going. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted March 21, 2025 Members Posted March 21, 2025 Sent the Moxley clip to a very casual wrestling watcher mate and he replied: So they've succeeded in something. I dunno what that is, but it's something. In the interest of fairness and not to take a stance on something I've just seen a clip of, I did watch the episode in its entirety. I thought it was absolutely pathetic to be honest and not from a "too violent!" POV, it was just...yeah pathetic is all I have. Blokes an idiot. The rest of the show just again reiterates it's just not for me (which of course is fine, its something to a lot of people and thats cool) but if Bryan shows up, someone tag me. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted March 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 21, 2025 Putting aside my feelings on Jon Moxley (and actually, to his credit, he looks in the best shape he's ever been in), I just think there needs to be some responsibility shown by Tony Khan here. He shouldn't be allowing any of his wrestlers to do a spot like that. It's completely uncontrolled and so, so dangerous and quite aside from the disgusting optics of it, it's irresponsible to allow it. I feel like Khan indulges Moxley doing this sort of thing because he's worried about losing him if he isn't allowed to do stuff like this. There's got to be a line in the sand somewhere. Quote

No. I mean you don’t like the spot (I don’t either), or that kind of wrestling that ECW/GCW/CZW and even Attitude Era WWE did, that’s cool, I get it, completely. But it was a planned spot with a weapon which had been created by the prop maker backstage (Good old Charlie). In the close up after you could see some were shaved, and how they were spread. Again I’m not saying that makes it ok or anything, I’m just saying this wasn’t unplanned. Same with Sami/KO last month, it was real Barb wire with blunted parts. And I’m not trying to single you out or anything, you know I respect you, but I just don’t think you can call something dangerous or uncontrolled when it would have been. Paid Members Supremo Posted March 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 21, 2025 Not to get too much into the semantics of, “uncontrolled,” but I did get the impression it wasn’t supposed to puncture Mox’s back as much as it did. You could sense everyone suddenly shitting themselves when they couldn’t pull it out, with Mox having to scream at everyone to stick to the script. Fair play though. It was obvious from the moment the rematch was announced that they’d likely do something bonkers to make everyone forget how shit the pay per view match was. It worked. This is all I’ll ever remember about Cope vs. Mox. Quote

The amount of gorgeous, amazing venues they’ve already been to this year, it’s a wonder why anyone ever bothered returning to the Hammerstein Ballroom. Especially after they got someone from Changing Rooms in to paint everything in the same shade of, “Misery Grey.” Turns out there are dozens of far better versions of the Hammerstein across the country. Long may it continue! Edited March 21, 2025 by Supremo Quote
Gooner Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 A highly budgeted show letting a guy live out all of his depraved, silly, wet, indy, hardcore, dream, fantasies on national TV and paying him a lot of money to do so. Completely ridiculous. I enjoyed the women matches, both were really good and Toni Storm has gotten her character over spectacularly. MJF joining up with the Hurt Syndicate would be a interesting development , not sure how they would work it, but if to happen I'll have to check in. Quote

Much cooler spot to be discussing ? initially it looked incredibly scary but on replay it's done perfectly, a combination of the move itself, the camera angle looking upward and not quite following down to the impact, the timing of the flip and lots of hair. When you watch Mercedes it doesn't look so bad but first time your brain fills in the details and it seems like a ridiculous move. Mone then lands pretty much perfectly for the foot in rope so it doesn't even fully register due to the murder you think you just watched Quote

It's almost like a Two-Winged Angel but looks like a much nastier bump than the One-Winged version. By contrast, the Spike spot didn't register anywhere near as much until they struggled to pull it out. Quote

Reminds me a little of some smaller venues, Japanese promotions use. Love it. I'm not particularly bothered by the Mox spot but I get why others hated it. I agree that it looked like it went deeper than expected. Imo, if their previous match hadn't bombed so hard, they probably wouldn't have even done it. Felt to me like a desperate attempt to scrub that match from everyone's memories. Job done, I guess. Overall a really good show. Quote
