It's in Greensboro and Flair & Steamboat mean a lot in that area and have a history with War Games matches, probably just to have them cut a promo about it backstage or be in the crowd. That's probably why, I don't agree with it, but they're suddenly NOT going to stop bringing Flair in occasionally if they didn't stop this before, unfortunately.

The ticket sales haven't been the greatest. Probably hoping for a nostalgia boost. 

Considering last time they were there was for Sting's retirement. Should have just debuted his kid that started training. Stick him with QT as an opponent in a dark match. It'd probably mean the same for sales.

Ric Flair is the last person I'd bring in to boost tickets personally. He's almost 90 and looks like the crypt keeper AND he's a sex pest.

He was also basically incoherent in promos (or at least the one I watched before I started skipping everything he was in aside from Stings last match)

Is Tony OK? Feels like AEW have slipped into heel mode again. Fuck the critics, more titles and sex pests!

Death Rider Curtain Call at Collision. Mox is getting bagged tomorrow. Eddie Kingston running down and saving him like Miss Elizabeth saving Macho Man at Wrestlemania 7. Not a dry eye in the house.

The War Games cage is one of the few places they could pretty much crucify Mox. Handcuff him to the cage, smack him with chairs and choke him out. It'd be a hell of a visual, write Mox off for a little while and be enough of a moment to pretty much turn him face without it seeming soft. And be a great way to bring back Eddie Kingston, obviously.

I don't think they're going to turn on Mox yet but if they do it's not going to be particularly violent, they can't get away with plastic bags/hanging etc on TV as opposed to PPV.

Doesn't need to be skewers-in-head violent, but just make it look and feel like an epic moment. An unconscious Mox hanging limply from the cage would be the kind of moment they can justifiably use as a way to move a bunch of stories forward.

The build has been ropey but I think all three matches are likely to be excellent so I'm excited. 

I think Skye Blue is likely to do something incredibly mental and ill advised. 

Just for sharings sake, my favourite Blood and Guts moment is Swerve's staple gun party. He looked like the coolest and most mental fucker in the world:

Going for some sort of body destroying craziness from Darby, either a dive off the top wrapped in something or being thrown off the top through a stacked layer of tables, glass and tacks, set on fire for added stupidity

I kind of liked the women’s blood and guts match at first, but I didn’t like the finish. I don’t think Mina adds much of anything to Storm’s act, and the same goes for Storm to Mina. The finish seemed a bit of a cop-out, really.

Page/Hobbs was fun, and honestly, I think that’s the match they should have gone with at the PPV. Eddie sharing the ring with Hangman once again gives me hope that the end result of this will be a match between the two.

I hated the men’s blood and guts match. I’ve said it before, but it’s just not a match type I enjoy. Kyle O’Reilly being the one to tap out Moxley was the icing on the cake really. Anything that suggests he’ll play a more prominent role going forward has me concerned.
