Mr_Danger Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 I melt the cheese in the microwave and spread it on to toasted bread. You can fight me over this or you can get on with cleaning cheese and crumbs from your grill trays. Quote

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 24, 2022 Moderators Posted February 24, 2022 Can I ask a bit more about how that works? Do you make it in a bowl and then pour it on toast or what? I'm having real trouble just picturing the logistics of it because I've never seen what happens to cheddar in the microwave. Quote

Your cheese safely melting into a globulous oily mess in the microwave, instead of being toasted until it forms a cratered orange-brown crust, staying under those flames as the edges turn black and it reaches the brink of ignition, betrays your username. Shame. Shaaaaaame. Quote

If you’re using grated you put it in a bowl but if you have slabs of cheese (Edam’s the best for it), you can get away with a plate. Make sure it’s not clumped or overlapping then just put it in the mic for 70-80 seconds. Comes out perfectly so you can just spread it on the toast. Quote

Just get some cheese spread if you want to spread cheese on your toast. You absolute monster. Quote

Paid Members quote the raven Posted February 25, 2022 Paid Members Posted February 25, 2022 Which one of you glorious bastards suggested putting just buttered crumpets in the microwave for a few seconds? I remember it was posted about here a while ago. It’s now a stable part of my life and allows that buttery goodness to fully soak my crumpets. Quote
