D2D has been postponed through yet another Covid test at Darlington. That's like half our games this season so far.

Wanna use one of my other D2D @Fog Dude

Drat. Thanks for letting me know. The opening post has been edited accordingly.

I think I'll try a Hereford fixture one more time, and if that one's off too then we'll swap it out for another of your choices.

The results went into the initial post on Sunday night, but as has been reported, there were only nine of them, with the D2D fixture the one to fall foul of the virus. That meant minimal movement in the table, as only ultimo moved ahead of TildeGuy at the bottom on the basis of guessing more exact scores so far. Despite the postponement, Shy Dad still kept up the tradition of being the lowest scorer during his D2D turn.

We're not now going to manage to complete everybody's first go by Christmas, but we should be able to squeeze one more in before then. The Boxing Day, New Year and FA Cup Third Round weeks will all forgo any extra complications as usual, so D2Ds will resume with people's secondary picks in mid-January. Which will probably mean Shy Dad actually gets to bet on his second choice before we give Hereford another chance.

Away from that housekeeping, some matches really did go ahead. Two 4-0 home wins for Liverpool were generally good for one-pointers, but emphatic away victories for Palace and Leverkusen caught a lot of players out. Successes for Chelsea, Leicester and Spurs plus a score draw in Frankfurt all proved a lot more fruitful. Manchester United's unlikely comeback triumph at the Olympic Stadium also turned out to be eminently foreseeable.

A new set of 10, plus an explanation as to why the last D2D of a wretched 2020 will have to wait another week, will go live in the first post very shortly.
