Yeah, Started dating Markéta Irglová the minute she turned 18 and he was 36, Did an interview talking about how he'd been in love with her for years. There's always been murmurs on the Dublin music scene but she's the only one confirmed. Quote

wordsfromlee Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Bought my wife tickets to see Hamilton for her birthday. I had no idea what was going on for pretty much the entire thing. Everything goes at a million miles an hour which made it really hard to understand and keep up if you hadn't already listened to the soundtrack and knew all the words to the songs. The three main women were the best bit about it - they were outstanding. The direction and choreography was good but I really can't get on board with Lin Manuel Mirandas songwriting style. It also went on for fucking ages. 6/10 Quote
Paid Members Weezenal Posted June 30, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 30, 2024 Managed to get tickets for an 18th anniversary show of Avenue Q for November. Recently saw a 15th anniversary concert of Spring Awakening with the original West End cast which was pretty good. Surprised no one has put it back on. Quote
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted June 30, 2024 Awards Moderator Posted June 30, 2024 Saw Hadestown last week. Really worth catching if you are not of the “musicals are rubbish” persuasion. Great music and re-telling of the Orpheus and Eurydice story. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted August 7, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 7, 2025 Saw Chicago at the Sunderland Empire last night and it was fantastic to be fair to it. It had a live band so the music was sensational and the live version is a million times better than the film. I had no idea at all until they were doing the roll call at the end that the main guy was played by Darren Day. Fair play to him he was really good. Quote
