RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Fully expecting both The Vision B Team winning the Tag titles either due to Punk distractions or Jay walking out on Jimmy and the Women’s Tag going to a non finish with the Bellas and CharLexa running in leading to a 4 way being announced for Mania Quote
The Gaffer Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Stephanie McMahon giving Cody Rhodes a clatter and duelling "You're not your dad!" schtick to heat up a Randy Orton WrestleMania match in 2026. The Wheel of Time has turned and The Authority will be back by SummerSlam. Quote

I’d not considered that Stephanie McMahon could be the person Orton was talking to on the phone, but this did leave me with that fear. Quote
The King of Old School Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 (edited) That ladder match for Mania. Good grief. Edited March 31 by The King of Old School Quote
SaitoRyo Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Paul Levesque just can't help himself, can he? Had to get his 'moment' in The Garden. Absolutely fucking hilarious. Twenty security guards can't get Brock Lesnar to calm down, but one look from the Chief Content Officer and the former UFC Champion is immediately retreating out of the ring. Quote
Paid Members Lenin Posted March 31 Paid Members Posted March 31 My morning plop was more interesting than last night's show. It feels like they've tried to cram a lot in over the last few weeks to try and generate some hype for 'Mania but overall it still feels a bit flat. I sincerely hope that Gunther goes over however I can't see the most boring man in wrestling lose on his return from injury. Interested to see how Lesnar/Femi pans out. It's been a while since Lesnar has had a decent match at Wrestlemania so I'd like to see them get more than five minutes. Quote
theringmaster Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I'm glad Roxanne is back. The rest looks totally skippable. Quote

Disagree, I think the match could be a right drag if it goes much longer than 5 minutes. Needs to be a sprint like the second Goldberg/Brock match at Mania. I quite like Gunther/Rollins at Mania, think its a much better match than Seth/Bron. Can see Bron costing him the match maybe to further there feud and keep some momentum with Gunther. Quote

It's the most interesting thing on the card atm, for me. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted March 31 Posted March 31 What was the point of Stephanie McMahon showing up to browbeat Cody? Reminds me of 2013-2018 Stephanie where she emasculated everybody. Awful. Quote

From a “let’s put the feelers out about a potential return for Vince by referencing him a few times and gauging the reaction” point of view it made a lot of sense. It’s happening, isn’t it? Quote

BarryOVega Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I’m sure there’ll be a million examples from UFC but surely Endeavour wouldn’t want someone as toxic as Vince near one of their shows? I know you can say Lesnar right now as he’s mentioned in the suit but it’s not like Vince is going to be involved in a match or draw any viewers, wasn’t the last time he was in a ring him stumbling around like a knobhead trying to take a stunner? Paid Members Supremo Posted March 31 Paid Members Posted March 31 (edited) Bad show. Stephanie McMahon crowbarring herself into the Wrestlemania main event feud, slapping the WWE Champion, who then thanks her. Two huge monsters in Brock and Oba smashing through security to get to one another, only to calm and bow down once Triple H tells them off. Fucking hell. 2016 all over again. Then, now, forever. Worse still, after Cody referenced him again, I’m now genuinely convinced the mystery person Randy Orton is speaking to on the phone is Vince McMahon, who’ll do a run-in at Wrestlemania. Wrestling has more than one scumbag family. The soft launch will probably continue at the Hall of Fame when Stephanie thanks Vince for inspiring the whole country to recover after 9/11. On the subject of scumbags I don’t want to see on my screen, Paul Heyman needs to fuck off, too. Man’s like mould on WWE television right now. Feels like he’s everywhere and you can’t get rid of him. His massive Jabba the Hut triple chin wobbling about in the Tag Title scene, Brock’s stuff and the Stone Cold Seth Rollins Cinematic Universe. I’d love to see the clip of Unreal where they go through the run sheet and explain why it’s so important for Hunter, Stephanie and Heyman to be smeared all over a TV show in Twenty Twenty Six. If we must endlessly harken back to 2001, can we not just bring Tommy Dreamer in and give him a shooter? The complaint for a while has been that they’ve never really explained Danhausen’s character, or whether The Curse is a real thing that actually works or not. This show put an end to that. The Curse is a real thing that really works. iShowSpeed got cursed and now not only does he have to hang around with a loser like Austin Theory, but he looks set to wrestle in a match involving LA Knight at Wrestlemania. LA Knight, now rocking the gimmick of, “clumsiest wrestler alive,” who seemingly can’t go a single week without nearly injuring himself or someone around him. Get on Jimmy Uso nearly having to stop Knight falling backwards and breaking his neck during his entrance. Man’s a calamity! For his own safety, iShowSpeed should turn up to Wrestlemania like Norman Smiley in his hardcore run, wearing helmet and pads. With Bron and Mysterio injured, I guess Seth vs. Gunther is as good a pivot as they could make. Is Seth’s career on the line? They certainly mentioned it more than once. If so, my support for Gunther in that match will eclipse my support for Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 30 and Hangman Page at All In Texas. It’ll be the most I’ve ever needed someone to win a wrestling match in the history of my fandom. Best thing on the show was the main event angle because for the first time in ages it felt like CM Punk might actually answer my prayers and go full heel. It’s crazy how long he’s been back in wrestling and not tapped into what is so obviously his best role, as a horrible prick. This video of him, from after the show ended, only further strengthened my erection. Fuck yeah!* *Now watch next week, when they decide CM Punk turning heel isn’t dramatic enough. Either Paul Heyman or Stephanie McMahon need to be revealed as his manager. Edited March 31 by Supremo Quote
