thatvinylgeek Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Part of me thinks it's as simple as the crowd knowing that Seth and Becky are married, and they don't want a face associated with a heel as the crowd who are already fickle at best would be even more split, so just turn them both. Quote

DavidB6937 Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Thought that was pretty decent overall. Definitely gave a few levels of intrigue to various things which was much needed. Disappointed Travis Scott didn't turn up though. Quote

FUM Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Thought it was a great show all told. There wasn’t a segment or promo that didn’t advance a story - even the Jey bit with Sami stood behind him looking like he was going to turn was clearly intentional to plant the seeds. Gunther doing us all a favour too - excellent stuff. If only he had got further with Cole. Quote
Paid Members JNLister Posted April 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 22, 2025 How the FUCK do you schedule an angle with a wrestler attacking a commentator literally seconds after the commentator has just told you the show you are watching is created by writers as shown in an upcoming documentary? You've simultaneously undermined the storyline I'm watching and told me the writing is incompetent. Quote

Sami turning and siding with Bron and Seth could be interesting but I have no idea what his motivation would be. Quote
The King of Old School Posted April 22, 2025 Author Posted April 22, 2025 I hope they add one or two more to the new Dangerous Alliance. A tag team would be good but I have no idea who. Quote

Jealousy. All it ever needs to be in wrestling. Jey got the job done, he couldn’t. Links up with Heyman who knows that family inside out. Edited April 22, 2025 by FUM Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 I watched the Cena promo back, because I've not got better things to do clearly, and it's good. His epitaph might never say 'gets the response he wants from crowds easily', but he's very good at getting there eventually. My main takeaway though, is that Cody came off very poorly from it I thought. An open discussion about how he 'disgusts' the audience, without Cody being there to answer for himself feels very weird to me. I'm assuming Cody will be the one to win the title back for WWE on Cena's last date, but still. I don't think this feud has done him any favours whatsoever. I'm also hoping The Rock is just gone now, yes because I dislike him, but also I do not trust them to be able to explain why it's in the best interests of a Board Member to be providing backing to a guy who wants to ruin the company and leave with the main title. Just, let him be forgotten now. Quote

TheScarlettChad Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Turning Fenix heel would be a really bad idea. Quote

The Street Profits maybe, or Wilde/Del Toro, or even bring up a couple of lads from NXT. There's an opportunity to have a group run roughshod all year and eventually get to an all-star team trying to take them down at War Games. Or they could just not do WCW 1992, but if you could why wouldn't you? EDIT: Actually fuck it, call up Oba Femi and get him involved. Edited April 22, 2025 by mim731 Adding some extra Quote
