After listening to all of Colbys shite last month. I'm close to just giving up watching MMA. It's just so depressing listening to some of these dickheads. Why anyone would care what he has to say about anything other than trading leather in a cage is beyond me. Watch the official countdown show, which tends to be more fight-focused, then watch the event itself. I've started doing that and it's vastly more enjoyable. Let's be honest, the press conferences are the drizzling shits anyway. They basically consist of fighters trying to shock everyone with shit bantz, non-English speakers looking confused while no one talks to them, and the blander fighters just mumbling about how they're coming to fight and had a great camp. So I can’t take the moral high ground. But man, this Power Slap shit is just scummy. Zero skill, willingly zero defence and just sticking their faces out and trading whacks back and forth for the amusement of rich people and idiots. Cerrone’s seemed like a fucking berk for a long time so it doesn’t shock me coming from him.
