Paid Members RedTwoster Posted April 11 Paid Members Posted April 11 Firstly, @TheScarlettChad, looks like Meltzer might actually be on the money for once. Secondly, what the heck is WWE doing?! Pat McAfee - a heel - goes out, offering a discount for tickets while talking about how shitty the card is for night 2 of Wrestlemania? Why would you do that? I’d understand McAfee’s involvement if the Tom Brady speculation was true. It would still be bad, but I’d at least understand it. But McAfee vs Jelly Roll is so underwhelming and - globally - so insignificant. Where’s the value in this? Why would anyone think this would add value to the card over a straight-up Orton/Rhodes match? I almost respect how badly they’ve managed to tank this, it’s quite impressive. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 11 Paid Members Posted April 11 Turning absurd prices and lack of sales into an angle is one of the most bizarre and desperate things they've ever done 😄 Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted April 11 Paid Members Posted April 11 Ignoring the dozen other ways the Pat McAfee stuff was crap, the thing that stuck out the most to me is they had someone go out and practically brag about being MAGA and then have them drop ticket prices to spite the super liberal CM Punk and I’m under no illusion that wasn’t entirely intentional because the company is full of clowns. Heck, they could probably give them away for free if they wanted to, with the blessing of the Saudi government who could use it as a propaganda/tourism drive. Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted April 11 Paid Members Posted April 11 We’ve only got ourselves to blame. It was all fun and games watching Danhausen chucking curses about, willy nilly. No-one stopped to think about the very real possibility that one of them might accidentally hit the creative team. Quote

TheScarlettChad Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Most people next year will be Saudi princes and the odd fan. It'll be weird knowing nobody sane will travel to Mania next year. Quote

TheScarlettChad Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I'm kinda at the point where this company needs to die. Either fix it or go out of business. TKO will fuck it off anyway so why wait. It's a sad thought that Saudi owned WWE may actually be better than whatever this company is now. Quote
