Paid Members Callum1993 Posted March 8 Paid Members Posted March 8 Asuka was treated pretty badly in the build up to Wrestlemania 35. Dropped the Smackdown women’s title two weeks before Mania to Charlotte in an Impromptu match just so the match with Ronda/Becky/Charlotte could be for both titles. Asuka was then left to be in the pre-show Battle Royal and didn’t even win that. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Id like to see Randy turn but Cody turning heel would absolutely heat up WrestleMania. Cena turning heel should have but Cody turning wbf being a top heel for a year or two would be a change of pace. Quote
The King of Old School Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I'm still holding out hope that in the contract signing on Smackdown this week that Drew & Jacob get involved making it a multi man match, I'd even have Sami sneak in at the end after a load of shenanigans and sign the contract too making it a 5 way match. Cody/Orton is the best option out of the lot for a one on one, but adding those 3 in a chaotic brawl would make it miles better and that's from someone who doesn't like multi man main events at Mania. There's at least a built in story for the mult man match. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Orton finally turns with a great beat down. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Cena's last year. Randy is better as a heel anyway. Quote

He’s very boring as a heel, particularly from an in-ring perspective, where he tends to remove all of the intensity from his work. I’m hoping he does something different this time, but I’m pessimistic. His track record isn’t great. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 My main concern is they're going to have to work very hard to get the crowd against Randy despite him being a heel against Cody. Not impossible but it'll be interesting to see what happens. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted March 14 Paid Members Posted March 14 (edited) Fantastic angle. Those Rhodes boys sure can bleed, can’t they? That spot when Randy crunched Cody’s head between the chair and the stairs (The Con-stair-to?!) felt like actual murder. Great bit of business. It obviously wasn’t their first choice, and getting there was a massive mess, but the proof was in the pudding on this show. They’ve definitely made the right decision taking the belt off Drew and going with Randy vs. Cody as the Night One Main Event. Balance was returned to The Force. Cody and Randy doing the proper stuff, a real top guy heat angle, whilst Drew returned to where he belongs, as an upper midcarder being extremely effective as a borderline comedy figure, constantly threatening to quit the job every other week. None of them stole the show though. That crown belonged to Trick Williams. Check out his facial expressions and mannerisms after Jacob shouts at him in this clip. The way he gestures to Nick Aldis as if to say, “have you heard this prick? The bloody cheek of it!” Trick Willy is the real deal. Pissing charisma. Man’s heading straight to the top! TheScarlettChad Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I'd be astonished if trick isn't Mr MITB this year. Quote
Daddymagic Posted March 14 Posted March 14 That Jade / Michin match was the worst match I've seen in WWE for quite some time. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Cody actually referencing the "Cody verse" was bizarre. Weird man. Quote
Harry Wiseau Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Netflix have censored the end segment now, it's gone all Channel 4, lingering shots of the audience and actual blurring Cody's ridiculous face. It was there in all its uncensored bloody glory yesterday but today it's censored. Presumably due to age ratings or whatever, can't do anything about it live but 48 hours gives them time to get within their guidelines. Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted March 16 Paid Members Posted March 16 Cody described himself as a, “Little Stinger,” as a kid, didn’t he? Cracking tribute to Big Steve, getting constantly turned on by everyone. Look at this poor sod. Completely ran out of mates. At some point, you’ve got to assume you’re the problem. Quote

He was a proper patronizing twat to Randy. He deserved the twatting he got. Quote
