Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted April 12, 2021 Moderators Posted April 12, 2021 The ones on the tweet are lovely! Not feeling that evil dead one though - too much disassociated floating stuff, particularly the necronimicon. Quote

Would definitely be better without the Necronomicon. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 12, 2021 Author Paid Members Posted April 12, 2021 As a rule, Italian film posters are the best. The influence really seeped into American designs in the 80s as well. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 22, 2021 Author Paid Members Posted July 22, 2021 Jordan Peele's new one is off to a great start even after just one poster. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted August 29, 2021 Members Posted August 29, 2021 This The Thing poster is really lovely. Here if anyone is interested. Definitely going to pick a few up when I move. https://vice-press.com/products/the-thing-nan-lawson?_pos=2&_sid=fc4b3ff44&_ss=r Quote
cobra_gordo Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 For some reason the memory of this poster popped in to my head this morning. It's such a superbly subtle, iconic image. I'll never forget seeing it for the first time, sort of dismissing it and then realising what it was and losing my mind. An original quad poster goes for about £125 and I'm genuinely tempted to pick one up. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted August 31, 2021 Author Paid Members Posted August 31, 2021 Shame about the film. Quote
cobra_gordo Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Yeah, definitely a case of great poster, crap film (thread idea?). Quote
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted September 1, 2021 Awards Moderator Posted September 1, 2021 What a poster! I'd love to see that. Except I've seen that actual film and it's boring, boring garbage. Yes that's Jesse Ventura at the front, and fat constipated Riker is played by Sven Ole Thorsen. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 5, 2021 Author Paid Members Posted October 5, 2021 I'll probably happen across a few from Italian horror films this month, and this is superb. Quote

Not for this thread, because it's an album cover and also potentially NSFW with a nekkid lady on it, but the cover of Santana's Abraxas is also very cool and psychedelic. Quote
