The problem's are mainly in the undercard and matches like I mentioned in the previous page, there's maybe too many guys like Ace Austin who I just don't get at all and Jimmy f'n Havoc.. but at least he has Selena with him to make it bearable. Merzbow
No idea, I just catch it on Youtube where they upload every episode.
Snitsky's back acne
As has been said, MLW seems to have some decent talent who could be big stars - MJF, Richard Holliday, Alex Hammerstone, Jacob Fatu, Tom Lawlor, Salina etc. Enjoyable enough weekly show most of the time. Paid Members Accident Prone Posted August 27, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted August 27, 2019 They aren't a bad shout if you're after an extra hour or so of wrestling every week, but the piped-in crowd noise bothers me too much to actually invest in MLW. Otherwise, they've got a decent talent pool, good production values and aren't afraid to try new ideas, which is a mighty big shame.
Michael_3165
Can't stand Lawlor at all. Havoc looks as shit as always. Many stick thin lads that need a work out. Smith Jr I never got. MJF is brilliant, contra is worth looking at esp Fatu.
Merzbow
I'm surprised Fatu isn't in either WWE or AEW right now, he could be the monster that AEW really need.
Michael_3165
The agility on Fatu is so impressive
Paid Members BigJag Posted June 27, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted June 27, 2020 https://mlw.com/2020/06/26/anthology-preview-contra-unit/ MLW are airing a Contra Unit special. It goes up on YouTube at around 12AM Sunday morning for those of us in the UK. Contra unit seem to tread the balance between corny and entertaining quite well.
Merzbow
MLW Fusion is back after 7 months off air. I've still no idea how Jacob hasn't been signed by WWE or AEW. Â
Merzbow
I'd already pretty much stopped caring about the reboot until.. Â Shame it's filmed on a shaky phone and you know he'll have none of the Lucha Underground magic.

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted January 3, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 3, 2021 (edited) Pretty sure the LU ownership/rights situation is incredibly convoluted and complex (which is part of the reason it failed) as MGM, United Artists, El Rey, Robert Rodriguez and Univision in Mexico all own various chunks it so I can't imagine buying the library any time soon will be an easy or cheap task. Hopefully one day it'll end up on the Network. Edited January 3, 2021 by LaGoosh
Paid Members BomberPat Posted January 4, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted January 4, 2021 It's a TV show, rather than a promotion's video library, so I can't see WWE being able to buy it the way they have other companies'.
