Members SuperBacon Posted April 6, 2025 Members Posted April 6, 2025 Jordan and Liam, two of the thickest men they've ever had on there. Absolute travesty that Jordan (who's been watching since he was 7? You fucking loser) is still in it and Mia isn't. Absolute highlight of this week though was Dean and Amber Rose not coming up with anything for the brand after ages and only coming up with the word APPAREL. Or as Dean put it APPARLE Amazing. I want him to win it to be fair. Mia, call me x Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted April 7, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted April 7, 2025 I was astounded that Mia went, and can kind of see why she was fired, I was unsurprised by Liam going after he spat his dummy out. Anisa and Chisola final for me unless one of them gets absolutely destroyed in the interviews. Hopefully the interviews continue to be the highlight of the series. Anybody else hyped about Race Across The World coming back? Quote
Browser Brady Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Not sure if anybody is watching but the Irish season of the Traitors is box office. If you are not in Ireland then i think you’ll need a VPN but it’s on the RTE Player ( national broadcaster). Quote
DavidB6937 Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 I did go looking for it the other day. Was very surprised it wasn't on iPlayer. I had to resort to New Zealand which was the only one I had left to watch. Quote
davertfnewman Posted September 14, 2025 Posted September 14, 2025 This feels like the best place to ask, anyone bothered with Educating Yorkshire? A contrived snap of reality in the contemporary Channel 4 tradition (the camera is in the right place all of the time and it shows teaching as realistically as Popeye shows life in the navy), but I was willing to give it a go until the flashback scene gave away that principal Mr. Burton has spent his higher wages on a syrup of figs. He won't be jumping on the desk these days, it might be pulled off by static on the ceiling tiles. Quote

There will be cameras set up everywhere, like in Big Brother, so they catch everything they need. That's why, subtitles sometimes appear on the screen when the mics on the cameras are not loud enough. Obviously there will be pieces of scripted reality. Like Pupil A and Pupil B have a conflict and a meeting is setup. Producer and camera person go to the meeting to film it. But it's just documenting what's happening in one school. Pupils with different backgrounds and circumstances will be used as feature pieces for each episode. Like the young girl with tourettes. Or the lad who's gifted at sports but has behavioural problems. Not sure how it can be deemed as a twisted version of reality. I haven't been taught in a school for over 20 years but what they are doing and saying seems normal. The Science teacher seems like an uptight prick though. He told them you can pick your own pairs for a practical. One lad (Pupil A) whispered to a girl (Pupil B) asking to pair up. The teacher said, "Yes, Pupil A you can pair with Pupil B because no-one else wants to pair with you." In front of the class. Pupil A retaliates and calls the Teacher a name. Pupil A gets told to leave the class, then gets a bollocking from the teacher. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 MAFS UK is back and it might have the most awful set of women yet. Quote

Only watched episode one but that Dean is a red flag. I don’t buy his overly nice act. Seems like a lovebomber. And the rapping was bad enough, and then he sung. None of his mates or brother looked impressed. Plus he’s annoying as fuck. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 But Grace is a strong, independent woman. You know she’s a strong, independent woman by her constant mentioning of being a strong, independent woman, otherwise we wouldn’t know that she is in fact a strong, independent woman. Alright love, we get it Quote

I think he's a genuinely nice guy AND annoying as fuck. Like I think his heart is in the right place but no one wants raps and songs and terrible jokes. I think she'd fucking hate him even if he lost a ton of weight because she just cringes at everything he says and does. You cant tattoo over that personality. Quote

Can’t help you’re not her type mate. How she hasn’t cut off those hands of his yet. Put them down mate. Waving them every where. An absolute flying start with the lesbian couple. The smaller one getting the right arse about the whole crystal situation during the photo shoot was hilarious. Quote

You have to accept being a sarcy cunt to kids means you get it back, often worse. It comes with the territory. There are very few times where I will punish a kid for biting back at me if I've pushed their buttons. Quote

Kids aren't as confident or secure about themselves. I'm the other way - I'm not going to make fun of someone because it could be the thing they remember years later and has really affected them. Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted October 3, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 3, 2025 My friend text me tonight to ask if I’ve been watching MAFS and if I remembered Dean from school. Apparently I played football with him many times at school, he lived near me and I’ve played him in my darts league just a couple years back for one season. I can’t remember if I beat him, I’d have to trawl the archive of results but I hope I did. All this and I’ve no memory of him. And I’ve got a pretty good memory for people. Such is the impact he has in real life. Anyway, he’s not even the worst person on the show anymore. That Steve is a massive dick. Quote
