I know quite a few members of staff from the original series, I worked at one of the neighbouring schools for many years and to be honest, the show was a pretty accurate snapshot of what working in a school in that area was like. I have the new series recording and will watch it but haven't done so yet. I don't live in Yorkshire anymore and there is definitely a different vibe to the schools in the midlands where I now live. I enjoy the games, but my god, it’s full of the wettest people I’ve ever seen. They’re always in tears. Some right annoying pricks too. Everyone desperate to have a story to tell so they can have screen time. The guy bawling over whether his daughter might be eliminated was ridiculous. The fact that everything prior to last night was filmed 7 months ago and it’s still not being ironed out means that they should’ve just kept them all apar and not even bring it up.
