Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted July 31, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2017 Brilliant news. The price is one thing, but I got a chill thinking about ITV butchering the experience for all of us.

And the Sky commentators and pundits will give Conor and MMA a measure of respect that the ITV crew wouldn't come close to doing. When talking about it on SSN, they were very fair and honest about Conor's chances but in a respectful manner, something I doubt we would have seen out of the ITV team. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted July 31, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2017 Yeah, they had Haye on who's a dick but he's always been open minded about MMA. And they had MVP on from the MMA side. It gave it some balance whereas ITV were 100% on the boxing side of things with Richie Woodhall, who I generally like, chatting out of his arse whenever the talk turned to McGregor/MMA. Plus, Sky have been doing this forever. They'll do a good job on the night.
Keith Houchen
As I knew I would, I've gone to being all not interested to now weighing up whether to get it or not.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 31, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2017 glad they broke the news, finally puts all them stupid £100 rumors to bed.
Paid Members herbie747 Posted July 31, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2017 Glad it's not ITV after the embarrassing coverage of the London presser.
David
Under 25 quid on Sky? Fantastic. That'll do me.
WyattSheepMask
Great stuff. This'll be the first thing I've bought on Box Office since the Mayweather/Hatton fight. With regards to Sky+ing it, am I right in thinking you can only record the replays and not the live broadcast?
d-d-d-dAz
You can record live but it deletes itself after a certain period of time.
Paid Members herbie747 Posted August 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2017 So is it definitely on in the T-Mobile? Did Ice Cube/Dog/T get his date moved?
Paid Members lambyUK Posted August 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2017 From what I've heard his event is taking place during the day then once it's finished the arena will be converted.
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted August 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2017 19.95 is an excellent, very fair price. If it had been 100, I'd have either looked for a stream on the night or just downloaded a HD copy at midday when I woke up and watch a normal time. Now, I'll likely stay up for it, either at home or at a mates. Question: how do you get SBO stuff if you're a BT customer?

It is taking place earlier, but not at the same arena - it eventually got moved to the MGM.

Cheers. Last time I heard was Dana saying it was still at the t-mobile. At least common sense prevailed in the end.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted August 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted August 2, 2017 Mayweather has posted on social media that he's going to allow McGregor to wear 8oz gloves on the night, probably a calculated move. It's all head games at this point.
