RIDDUM_N_STYLE
WWE have just announced that starting November 29th they are launching a new 1 hour Cruiserweight show called 205 Live with Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves as the commentary team. It will air in the slot that Talking Smack takes up on the Network on Tuesdays with that show being moved to 1 hour later  The blurb doesn't really specify if this is going to be it's own thing separate to Raw or if we'll continue to see CW matches on Raw and Superstars
WyattSheepMask
They seem to be floundering a bit on RAW since the CWC finished, and the Cruiserweight title match at Hell In A Cell played out to absolute silence, so if it is being moved away from RAW/Superstars it's probably a good move. King Mal the Glorious
Probably for the best. Hopefully it'll all be taped at Full Sail so there's at least some crowd reaction to the matches.
WyattSheepMask
If it's taped at Full Sail, it wouldn't be '205 Live' would it?

Jon-Carr_92
TJ Perkins v Brian Kendrick was terrible. No chemistry. Slow paced as anything and such a dead crowd. And do they really need to tape the ropes purple for the matches? That's gotta annoy the ring crew. The Code Of Honour stuff is OK mind.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 2, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 2, 2016 205 Live will feature Superstars that are 205 pounds and under, including: new WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick, as well as TJ Perkins, Rich Swann, Noam Dar, HoHo Lun, Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Gran Metallik, [Akira] Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Gurv Sihra and Harv Sihra. Fucking Ho Ho Lun! Christ. Â This makes sense considering they'd signed a load of cruisers without enough time to showcase them. Two matches on Raw each week is ideal in theory, but then what do the others do, as they've signed so many of them? Tozawa, Gallagher and Dar haven't made their debut yet and everyone else is being thrown into multi-man tags. Â The big question is logistics- will this be taped at Raw or Smackdown like Superstars/Main Event is, or Full Sail? Part of NXT tapings or separate? Will they still be on Raw, and their subsequent PPVs?
Paid Members Benno Posted November 2, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 2, 2016 It'll be live after Smackdown, from that arena.
The Dart
Sounds like they'll still be on Raw too, and this show will be a bonus. Â It's a good idea, but not sure doing it live at Smackdown is a good idea though. Â Especially if they do it after Smackdown.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 2, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 2, 2016 It'll be live after Smackdown, from that arena. Hmmm. I think the crowd might be dead for it in that case, with it happening after the main show. That said, Smackdown isn't as long as Raw I suppose. d-d-d-dAz
You can bet your life they'll film it before and air it as-live after. Otherwise, you'd just be watching fans leave to catch the train.

Guest
And do they really need to tape the ropes purple for the matches? That's gotta annoy the ring crew. Â It annoys me as a viewer too. Â It subconsciously tells me that what follows for the next few minutes is a self-contained sub-promotion that has no bearing on the rest of the show. Â I know it's superficial, but I tuned in to watch Monday Night Raw, so make them a part of Monday Night Raw with all its visual trimmings and I'll be more receptive to what they have to offer. Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted November 2, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 2, 2016 How do they change the ropes for the cruiserweight matches? Is the purple just a plastic sheath they add to the ropes?
iPumaPants
They tape them over with purple tape. Then again for the rest of the show.
