Paid Members Callum1993 Posted June 21, 2016 Paid Members Posted June 21, 2016 As per WWE.com: — WWE has suspended Joe Anoa`i (Roman Reigns) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy. Well holy shit.
Doog Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Was thinking whether this meant he'd miss Battleground but his suspensionn will end just before it. The cynic in me would say the timing isnt the worse to sit out a few weeks, wonder how long theyve known
tony1234 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Give Rollins the match at Battleground, screw job finish and then Triple Threat at Summerslam
wordsfromlee Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I wonder how they'll explain his absense on TV? They must have only just found out otherwise they'd have done an injury angle on Raw last night.
The King Of Swing Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Fucking hell the crowd reactions will be even more brutal once word of this spreads.
Merzbow Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm v' high. Yes, i deserve suspension for that.

The cynic in me would say the timing isnt the worse to sit out a few weeks, wonder how long theyve known Battleground is in 33 days anyway. They probably practice random testing.
Sexy Dad Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Huge news, the top brass must be fuming. He's been given the keys to the castle and it's been quite some time since someone so high calibre has got suspended for something like this. Orton in 2012 when he was distinctly midcard was the last I think. I suppose this explains Sunday a bit more clearly if they had already known about this...I wished it had happened in the middle of the AJ feud though...cos Styles would be champ then obvz.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 21, 2016 Paid Members Posted June 21, 2016 Its going to be interesting what happens. They really put the rocket on him, and its a real let down for them that they've had to suspend him. On the other hand, when they were big on Jeff Hardy, they just kept on pushing him when his suspension was up. Yeah, crazy story though. Couldnt have came at a worse time, with the brand split coming up.
FUM Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Wonder if someone pointed out how shit his body was for a big guy and he wanted to change it.
The Clint Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 They wanted Reigns to be a role model for the younger fans. He's probably toast as far as winning the title goes any time soon. They don't reward that shit these days.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted June 21, 2016 Paid Members Posted June 21, 2016 Yeah, they've totally known about this for a while- the timing is all too convenient. They've done this before haven't they? Waited a while before suspending someone? Orton or Jeff I think.

Doog Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Why not? Have him in the triple threat to solely take the fall. Removes him from the title picture completely then and gives Ambrose or Rollins the rub of pinning him whilst protecting the other
