They were never bringing Chyna back, ever. And its much earlier to say you're going to keep your nose clean than actually do it. She was obviously a mentally ill woman who was bullied and fucked with because of her looks.

Can't argue with that, I said she was fragile earlier. I still think she could have worked for them again if not for her problems. Especially when there were seperate rosters and star power had died. Sadly she was too fucked to live out of that spotlight.

I hope X-Pac is coping with this news OK. When I read the news this morning he was immediately in my thoughts. Strange as I'm hardly a superfan or anything but I know he's had his own struggles with depression in the past.

Amazing all these nice tweets but u do wonder where these nice people where when she was low and f***d! - probably too afraid of losing their job to be associated with her would be my guess (think she said something as much in her shoot).

The thing is we r looking atbher as the victim but we will never know her or the real story.

She could very much have been a hard to deal with mentalist who was violent, scorned Chance's, had a massive ego and was a pain to be around (let alone substance user). In which case whilst still sad would put a different spin on it

Given her insane behavior, YouTube vids, twitter rants, failed rehabs, career choices and substance issues I think she was genuinely mentally Ill and probably needed locking up for her own safety.

If she'd got sectioned she'd be alive now!

Saying that she probably failed herself as much as others failed her (think TNA tried loads to get her in mid is 2000s but ego got in her way)!

Didn't know her but I'd imagine having been dumped, no career alternatives (wcw gone), dwindling finances and a lack of stardom was something she just couldn't get over!

Literally went from Star on TV to unemployed nobody overnight!

I can remember even as a kid thinking introducing Chyna to the womens division was a weird angle. She had been beating blokes for the IC title and now we are supposed to believe women could beat her?

It sucks for her so much, she was one of their biggest stars and then due to the ultimate example of 'workplace politics' she was booted out. Didn't TNA also sack her because they didn't want her doing porn anymore?

It's just all so sad, what this woman did in the 90's changed wrestling, she wasn't the first woman wrestler but she was the first to be taken seriously. I'm just of so many mixed emotions about this, much like I was when macho man died (and Warrior to an extent); This is a legend who deserved so much more recognition, somebody who would have greatly benefitted from being welcomed back to the wwe family.

I think it's a safe bet to say she will be getting a HOF spot next year, maybe all of DX to induct her?

Wasn't that as a result of her big neck injury? Plus I don't think any women actually did beat her.

Yeah, whilst she was out Ivory mocked her so when she came back she whooped her ass and took her belt off her. She then did a storyline where was whooping everyone then after beating Trish she cut a promo saying she is going to keep walking all over the women and then Lita came out to set up her final feud. And then we never saw her again, or the womens belt for a solid 6 months until Trish won it in the 6 pack match at Survivor Series.

It's a great pity she left right on the eve of the first 'boom' period of Womens Wrestling

If it is, it won't be for a long while...   I imagine that there will be a lot of news sources will be sniffing around Chyna's past with HHH over the coming months, and Trips will want to distance himself from her nastier claims.

If she was inducted, again, I imagine they'll focus on her "trail blazing" rather than her time with Hunter so it'll probably be someone like Bailey or Sasha.   Who accepts on her behalf though?     .

Isn't her mom still alive?

That's a pretty harsh accusation to throw out with no basis whatsoever. No doubt this is a tragic tale, but from all accounts she could be a really difficult person. There's very little that you can do for someone that won't accept your help, unfortunately.

You assuming that all the people that are tweeting about her now had zero contact with her, just because it wasn't publically on Twitter

To be honest, I was hinting at something similar when I posted the tweets. There's always a ton of regret when someone dies though I've no idea if that's the case here. But even in normal life there's always the thought of "I wish I'd called more", "I wish we'd met up more often", "I wish I'd asked how they were doing a bit more".

I'm sure she would have loved to have been reminded that thousands of people thought she was great and hundreds of colleagues and co-workers respected her.

Proper sad news. Even in something as fucked up as wrestling can be, she always stuck out to me as a tragic figure. Like Ian said, she was a genuinely unique attraction in a business that has pretty much done every idea a thousand times. She was something new and different and from 1997-1999 she was great, I thought. But fame can fuck up the sanest of people, she came into wrestling damaged and became a star as good as overnight really, didn't she? It would be a lot for anyone to adjust to, much less someone a bit mentally fragile. Then it felt like almost as quickly as she became famous she became an afterthought.

Everything after her release in 2001 is her own responsibility, of course. But it's really a shame to see anyone suffer from depression and addiction and destroy themselves. Especially so young.

She never had kids, did she? Probably just as well, as harsh as that may sound.

Nah. She doesnt even talk to her family by all accounts. I'm sure I heard there's a situation where she blames them for something that she never revealed or something like that. Sounds very grim to me. I remember X-Pac saying Chyna was messed about with as a child, which probably sort of shows what kind of start in life she had.

On a more positive note, never forget lads:
