Useless bastards

I really liked Dan Severn! Looked like a hard bastard, not shocking in the ring.

Yeah, so did I. Russo wanted Severn in the Ministry and he turned it down flat. He was to be called "The Beast" and have "666" painted all over him. Obviously he wasn't very keen on that and bolted.

Good god, that sounds bloody awful.

Sheamus since his return.

I was actually quite excited when he came back, he looked different, turned heel which was definatly needed and cut a few good "where are the real men" promo's.

Since then he has traded wins with Ziggler and Neville and has come off looking a right chump.

I have a feeling we'll see a couple of months of Sheamus/Orton now which has to the least appealing Raw fued in some time.

In my mind, he should have been mowing through people since coming back eventually leading to him answering Cena's US open challenge around Summerslam time to get his belt back which he lost last year.

The days of Sheamus having any upward mobility are over. He's fine as a relatively threatening JTTS but I can't see him ever being a featured performer in a world title feud ever again.

Cena dropping the US title will mean something when it happens, it would be a waste to give it to a spent force like Sheamus.

Sheamus is a tremendous hand who can work with anyone, go babyface or heel and lose without being too damaged. He's a perfect upper midcarder. Since he came back, he's had decent matches with Ziggler, Neville and others, got decent heat, put Ryback over nicely in the Chamber and being unlucky that Bryan was knackered so they couldn't establish that feud.

Not a fucking chance he belongs in this thread.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaad, Jackpot, both kindly shut the fuck up. Jackpot said something that could have been taken a certain way, but Daaaaaaad's pissing and moaning and making it far worse than it was actually made it clear what Jackpot was talking about is what Daaaaaaaaaad didn't want to hear.

So yeah. Both of you, less it.

(I've deleted your previous posts, no official warnings or suspensions, just a friendly "Don't be dicks, lads." and think about what you say the night after a PPV. Anything which could pertain to a result should only be put in the thread relevant to that PPV, Jackpot. And Daaaaaaaaaad, if someone does make a cryptic post that could possibly be a spoiler, don't make it into an actual spoiler by having a super tantru and making it obvious it is a spoiler to those that wouldn't have known if you didn't kick off. Use the report function!)

Fair shout. I've been on high alert due to today being Game of Thrones as well, so I was probably a bit highly strung and het up about it. Apologies to all.

Thrones spoiler : your favourite character DEFINITELY dies before the end, whoever it is. Only Rickon and Yara are making it to the end.

Back to wrestling, I love how decades later you're always finding out stuff you didn't know at the time. OK, some is going to be bullshit that someone told Feinstein while high as a kite, but it's fun to hear either way. Severn in The Ministry? Fucking hell.

Sheamus since his return.

Wow, I've loved Sheamus since his return. I liked him before but he was so stale as a face, when he went away for a bit I was hoping he'd come back a bit freshened up and as a heel and that's exactly what he did. He's one of my favourites at the moment.

Yeah, I'm with the Cageophile. I think he was in dire need of a makeover and this is ideal for him. He has the bad ass heel shtick back but in true heel fashion will resort to bring a snide twat if he can't get the job done. That works for me.

Plus I might be in a minority but I really, really like his new look. And his new music is perfect for him, much more fitting than his 'generic rock/metal that Dunn likes' theme. And as others have pointed out, he's a brilliant hand in the ring. Keep him out of here. You may not like him (which is kind of the point), but he's a million miles away from useless.

Agree completely with the above. Sheamus feels way more polished an overall act in his current incarnation. I can certainly see people being tired of the guy because he was pushed so hard down peoples throats for a while, but I think its unfair to have him in this particular thread, the dude's very talented.

I think his new look is great too, and his new entrance where he's standing there completely lit up a bright glowing white looks really cool and big time.
