Didn't you see what I said on the previous pages? Not just names and one liners with no real interesting content to it. Just putting a name is boring and shite.

Flair was notorious for bar tabs, and getting blitzed nightly. Some would argue his drunken (vodka fueled) behaviour got his pal JR the sack from WWE.

I've heard about this loads but never actually heard the full story, what's it got to do with JR?
Ric got hammered on vodka, and started getting a bit carried away. Vince felt JR should have intervened, rather than embarrass the Fed in front of a major sponsor / partner.

This is Why JR Jim Ross Got Fired From WWE:

First time I've watched this properly. JR did a dreadful job, the presents g alone should have got him the sack. Flair waffled on a bit, but I don't think he made that much of a twat of things. Gives a bit of a Jimmy Saville vibe though.

The Von Erichs should have a mention here shouldn't they?

Its a very sad story about them and suicides were the cause of a death or two but they were made on an altered mind set from a cocktail of drugs and alcohol.

From what I remember they had an older brother who died young from electrocution or something so no drugs there.

David was next to go with alternating stories between intestine issues and some drug stories.

Mike was next to go with definite drug and alcohol involved.

Then Chris and Kerry both shot themselves for different reasons but the drugs didn't help their decision making.

Fritz died later on but from a brain tumor.

As a family its a depressing story but from different reports they were exposed to the business, drugs, alcohol and even stories of them having hookers underage also.

If Fritz was in a different line of work these boys would probably still be alive, a shame but drugs and alcohol definatley ruined that family.

It's funny how on the documentary they highlight others in WCCW drug use but skip over the Von Erichs.

They were all on something it seems

The stories about The Flock from WCW circa 97-98 are pretty well documented from Perry Saturn and Raven's respective shoots. They used to drive to the east coast every month and buy literally thousands of ecstasy tabs and just hand them out willy nilly to the entire roster, production crew and staff for a good while and if it's to be believed wrestled at Fall Brawl 98 still pretty much bonkers status clonked. Don't get me wrong somas and bottles of whiskey are a death sentence but being on the road and getting thrown around five nights a week not 24 hours removed from an ecstasy binge sounds horrible. It's a hilariously non functioning substance.
