Just how bad do we reckon the crowd is going to be Monday? I suppose if Minnesota are a bunch of arseholes, Chicago is going to be a million times worse, but I also get the feeling that like maybe it won't be as bad as all that...

O it will,

Playing punks music for no reason but to rip on the fans would be amazing. More so if they wasted it on BNB,

"Ive got some bad news.......CM punk isnt here" dear lord that would be magic.

Yeah but since Punk walked they haven't mentioned him. Not that he's gone or anything. I remember when Austin walked out they did a whole thing about it. They're not going to ignore it for weeks on TV and then all of sudden go for it, surely? They might just have to power through.

If they can get some heel capital out of it, there's no reason they shouldn't. They're not benefiting in any other way from Punk's departure. Powering through in Austin's case was because they were still hoping to get him back, whereas with Punk they're way past that stage now, and, more importantly, unlike with Austin, there are a bunch of people out there who've just set themselves up as heel troll fodder.

Were you watching wrestling in 2002? When Austin left, they did a full-on burial job the next week. They didn't ignore it. Have you mixed up the two?

Of course not. WWE dont care about it. Its not a serious thing. Its actually going to be quite great to see such a mental show. These rowdy fans actually paid for a ticket to yell and scream. Its when you are running casinos and giving tickets away that you are worried. This isn't a new thing. 2005/06 was when WWE was super worried that their new big star was potentially going to get ruined because he was getting booed every week. Where as this isn't any different to the "We Want Bret" stuff when they'd go to Canada. You couldn't have a match with Earl Hebner refereeing it without the chants starting. What could honestly happen after Monday night? Its intriguing only to the likes of us who follow wrestling a bit more deeply than the average bear. And its not like they are going to be hijacking all night. If they do something intriguing with Bryan, Hogan and Undertaker as well as Roman Reigns, that would give the fans what they want enough to make it a fine show and make them stop chanting things for a bit. They are wrestling fans at the end of the day. And if they do chant shit during the Undertaker and Hulk Hogan stuff, then they should stop watching this altogether if they are that sad.

Batista coming out to Cult of Personality now that he's a full on knobhead again would be absolute fucking Newport City Centre Of A Saturday chaotic magic. Get him out there pissing himself laughing, slapping himself on the thigh/his Youth XL Hollister jeans with pre ripped knees, lifting his pink tinted Oakley aviators to do blag BOO HOO tears and downing a refreshing Dr Pepper and fronting people in the front row shouting WHAT WHAT LAD WHAT. Fuck having him talking off all together and just get him doing one handed press ups with a clap between each lift and making COME ON motions at people like an inverse version of that Jericho come back. People would want any fucker to kick his head off at Mania. Bryan, Orton, Baryr O. Anybody.

I remember The Rock cutting a promo on him, associating it with the "Get the 'F' Out" slogan, but not much else. But that's probably my brain again.

Just to clarify, I didn't say they ignored it, though. I just meant with Riot saying "they have to power through", which I honestly took to mean they just took the hit in their stride.

Surely he'd have to be drinking a Pepsi and not Dr Pepper
