Loki
I don't know if it has fans on here but I just finished Lonesome Dove for the second time, it really is wonderful. Robert Duvall is absolutely majestic and it looks wonderful on Blu Ray too. Â It's on my Amazon Wishlist. I've been umming and ahhing about it for ages, so cheers for the recommendation! Â EDIT: I was thinking of Broken Trail in fact. Lonesome Dove sounds good too though. Edited October 12, 2013 by Loki

I haven't seen Broken Trail and this just reminded me it exists Tommy Lee Jones is excellent in LD aswell, barely says a word with most of it but tells the whole story with his face. RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Finally got my copy of Crystal Lake Memories this morning from the Post Office sorting room, been watching it all afternoon and still have over 1 1/2 hours left on disc 2. Fantastic documentary that completely eclipses His Name Was Jason in terms of content and interviewees. I love how each chapter title is styled after the respective film and TV show. It had some stuff I didn't realise like how the little girl who played the younger Tina in Part VII also played one of Leatherface's family members in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Paid Members Fox Piss Posted October 13, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 13, 2013 I watched Kings of Summer yesterday. Â It's about 3 teens who run away at the start of summer to live in a house they built in a forest due to their unhappy home lives. Kind of reminded me of a mix of Stand by me and Into the wild but with comedy which sometimes feels out of place. Â It's got Ron & Tammy from Parks & Recreation in it and Alison Brie. Â The trailer sold it to me.

Keith Houchen
Because Mrs H hadn't seen it, we watched Throne Of Blood last night. For me, it's the best Shakespeare adaptation that's ever been made.

Paid Members DEF Posted October 13, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 13, 2013 DEF Where do you get your shout factory blu rays from? Cheers. Â Most if my stuff is from amazon.co.uk marketplace sellers or movietyme.com. Basically look about a bit for the cheapest option. Scream/shout do tend to be between 15 and 20 quid though so they aren't cheap. But they are worth it imo. I love Scream forever though because they got The Burning out I've been waiting for that for years. Plus in general Screams catalogue is right up my alley. Â I should point out all Scream/shout discs are region locked to A. I've got multi region player.
RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Watched the original I Spit On Your Grave before, my god what a weird movie. I can see why it was on the banned list for so long, the rape scenes are brutal, however the revenge kills are more suited to a slasher flick. What got me was how silent the movie was bar any dialogue and how it just jumps straight into the lead driving out of New York without any real explanation as to why she was going, same goes for the ending it just ends without any resolution to what she's done
