Guest Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Ryback tweeted this, almost surely taking the piss. Then Dixie fav'd the tweet. Deary me.. I'd love to see Ryback be the big heel in ROH, like Matt Hardy did. Watched Summerslam 2013 last night and heel Ryback bullied this catering guy in a segment, he looked like the most cold, intimidating, heartless bastard. Was doing good stuff in his recent heel run too, in the minuscule spotlight he's had.
Winston Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Really looking forward to Cody Rhodes' indy career. Just hope he stays clear of TNA.
UK Kat Von D Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Cody Rhodes... this must be a bit of a first, someone who leaves WWE on their own terms and immediately announces their enthusiasm to be involved in the indy scene. it's like what CM Punk always used to pretend he'd do Looks like he's out to revitalize himself as a performer when I assumed he'd step into another line of work when he left, like Barrett did. good luck to Cody, as with Sandow, there's a very useful midcard name with some longevity behind it if he was given anything. I'd be pleased to see either of them back in the coming years. Would have been exciting five years ago, but now most the top Indy guys are in WWE. While everyone on the list is good, it's hardly like if Punk walked out and posted a list with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe at the top.
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted May 29, 2016 Paid Members Posted May 29, 2016 Where's all this hype about Cody Rhodes' indie career come from? Didn't he come up entirely in the WWE system? Something tells me he won't be setting the world alight.

UK Kat Von D Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Well I wouldn't call it bold so much as dull to be honest. Average sized fish in a little pond
Merzbow Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I almost spat my Pepsi out seeing Shibata on that last, I cant imagine that working at all unless it's just Cody getting his face soccer kicked off.
Paid Members ElCece Posted May 29, 2016 Paid Members Posted May 29, 2016 I did just see Wade Barrets response list which had one name on it. Papa Shango made me chuckle

Angle_fan Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 It just sounded funny when I randomly thought it that's all.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted May 31, 2016 Moderators Posted May 31, 2016 Link for the Barrett response..?

Paid Members Statto Posted June 1, 2016 Paid Members Posted June 1, 2016 Taking a break from wrestling is the official line. Taking a crack at Hollywood is the plan, I think.
