Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 4, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 4, 2015 TheShowOff used a shit picture of Jet there. She's got make-up on with a trowel and the lighting's shit, makes her look gimpy. This pic is MUCH better, and probably closer to the Jet we all wanked over remember:
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 Back in school a mate of mine used to claim he was related to Jet. Obviously everyone called chinny on it, but it actually turned out to be true.
Paid Members Statto Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 It's pretty much summer. Why the fuck did Ziggler wear a t-shirt & 2 coats to the ring on Main Event? Twat.
King Pitcos Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 The flip side of that would be everyone wrestling in longjohns and bodywarmers by December, though.
Paid Members Statto Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 Nah, not exactly. Wrestling under the lights is going to be a hot pursuit regardless of the time of year. I could forgive walking to the ring in 3 layers if you'd just come from a cold backstage area or needed them outside. But when it's hot outside as well as hot in the arena, it just looks silly. OK, I just think Ziggler's a dick.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 Watching the 'Top 25 Rivalries' documentary on the network now. I know these lists are bullshit, but Hogan v Piper is apparently the 21st greatest feud of all time. Any post 2002 feud that comes on now will cause my blood pressure to rise just a notch!
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 I'd get the sick bags out now then. There's some right shit coming up. Nothing will ever top their Greatest EVER SUPERSTARS!!! DVD where Hogan and Bruno were slightly ahead of Chris Jericho in the 20s. Warrior didnt even make the top 50.
King Pitcos Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 When was the first time a Hogan-Piper match ever had a decisive finish? WCW or The Mr America era? At the time it was big business, Piper wasn't taking a pin. It loses big points for the lack of a decent ending.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted June 5, 2015 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Ah, fuck it then. Manic Street Preachers gig on BBC2 it is! To be honest, I thought the WWE had got out of their 'everything that happens now is the best thing since sliced bread' phase, but apoarently not. I have an irrational hatred of that. When was the first time a Hogan-Piper match ever had a decisive finish? WCW or The Mr America era? At the time it was big business, Piper wasn't taking a pin. It loses big points for the lack of a decent ending. Well, its supposed to be greatest rivalries and it basically got Wrestlemania off the ground. Edited June 5, 2015 by garynysmon
King Pitcos Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 To be honest, I thought the WWE had got out of their 'everything that happens now is the best thing since sliced bread' phase, but apoarently not. I wish WWE had that phase, rather than their actual mindset of 1998 WAS MINT WASN'T IT? REMEMBER WHAT DX DID? AND VINCE PISSED HIS PANTS AND GOT CEMENT IN HIS CAR.
rockbus Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I had the pleasure of working with Jet for the day seven or eight years back. One of those real rarities of a person who is beautiful, talented and humble with it. A really lovely person.
LWOLeN Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Really pisses me off that I can't find Joe vs Kidd anywhere on Youtube. Thousands in attendance and nobody has the balls to secretly film it!? Edited June 5, 2015 by LWOLeN
