John Stephens
Someone found this thread from another forum from 10 years ago with them posting their predictions for WrestleMania 30. Most of the posts are way off. Â http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...37095&st=
Vamp
We should do one of those for WrestleMania 40. Considering everyone's expecting WM XXX to be full of old timers, the current main event crew seem to be falling apart and nobody has a cleu who could possibly replace them it'd be impossible to get anything close to it I think. Slapnut
Biggest stars at WMXXX: John Cena Spanky Rene Dupree Randy Orton Batista Christopher Nowinski Brock Lesnar Shane Helms Matt Hardy Shelton Benjamin Randy Orton  This is fantastic. Somebody actually thought the likes of Shane Helms and Chris Nowinski would be the biggest stars now, let alone still around.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 30, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 30, 2013 WWE.com has posted a in depth article on the Dungeon of Doom. KillerTwist
Those predictions make interesting reading. Like any predictions, some are spot on...  I'm going to promise you guys something: Barring any career-ending injuries, John Cena is going to be the new Rocky by WM 25. That guy has so much undiscovered ability and they haven't pushed him down our throats ala Lesnar who climbed to the top of the mountain before he actually got over (as a babyface, even.)  Linda, Hunter, and JR can go on about Randy Orton all the fuck they want. I guarantee Cena will be massive in a few years.  And some not so much...  I don't think Jericho will be at WM XXX, I think he will know when it is time to step out and won't have an ego keeping him there. Unless he doesn't actually get worse over time... I think a fair few will remain, although it is impossible to predict who. We can dream though.  What are the odds of some form of porn or at least full-fledged nudity at XXX. It almost wouldn't be complete without it.  And WMXXX will more than likely be at the Garden. Vamp
WWE.com has posted a in depth article on the Dungeon of Doom. This website just keeps delivering. http://www.wwe.com/classics/kevin-sullivan...dungeon-of-doom  This is fantastic. And also contains this absolute nugget:  A lot of people think wrestling is Sir Laurence Olivier doing Edited October 31, 2013 by Vamp
The Reverend
Jake Roberts has been saying he's fit and healthy and ready to go into the Royal Rumble - what do you think of Roberts coming back. Could be kinda exciting. Plus also would be good to get him back to induct him into the 2014 Hall of Fame (New Orleans so Mid-South territory.) Ant
I read a report that set out a summary of a radio interview with Bryan "Adam Bomb, Wrath, Kronik" Clarke. Â He's also saying he should get a Rumble spot as he's never stopped training, so is ready to go. He then dismissed guys like Hall and Roberts who probably aren't in the best of nick. Â In fairness to the guy, after the Lawler heart attack incident it would be risky putting these addiction riddled guys on a PPV, no matter how many days they've not consumed drink or drugs. Paid Members mim731 Posted October 31, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2013 I'd enjoy an Adam Bomb stint in the rumble, even if only for a couple of minutes!
Ant
Absolutely - good size and I'd imagine able to work the current style with ease. However he seems quite outspoken; he'd probably stick the nut in Trips if he didn't get the 30 spot.
Paid Members JNLister Posted October 31, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2013 In case you were still wondering what/who is getting the blame for the SummerSlam buyrate, Vince isn't mincing his words:  Vince McMahon said PPV is attraction driven. "SummerSlam was not the right attraction. You don't knock them all out of the park. That one was a swing and a miss."
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2013 I suppose that sets in stone the Bryan experiment being over then.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 31, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) Anyone thinking Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan being on the cards is off the mark as well, since the reason Shawn tapped out was so there was a visual of Bryan getting his revenge. That was done to get his heat back before getting a kicking off the Wyatts. So that chapter is closed as well. Â The Daniel Bryan stuff has been an incredible fuck up. Like a stunning mess of complete madness in how to handle someone who got over. He headlined 4 PPVs for the WWE title and still didn't get a title run. Now he has to carry Erick Rowan. Not only did he not come out on top in most of his headline matches, we are also told weekly how shit he looks, how small he is and how he cant match up to the real stars. And the heels are proved right all the time. Edited October 31, 2013 by IANdrewDiceClay
Killjoy_Gee
I think this is my favourite prediction. Â 'nash and HHH will be dead in 10 years. plus angle is alrwady 30 something....he'll be in his mid-forties' Â 1 mark out of 2 - Yes, Angle is in his mid-40's XD
