Shane O' Mac Version 2
Ah okay, I'll confess my fandom only started in 1998, I just assume all the main superstars appeared on Raw since it's inception. And speaking of inception, I'll admit I had a total "derp" moment. Raw started in 1993, right? I was going off Taker's debut in 1990. Surely Taker is the only pre-Raw Superstar left now then? NEWM
As far as having never left, definitely. In terms of employees who went and came back, I guess you could stick Gene Okerlund in there because of his On Demand/Vintage presenting, and I suppose at a push Vince McMahon as a TV personality, obviously. Â Can't think of anybody else who has a regular/semi-regular on screen role from the pre-Raw era, but cleverer folks than I may have the goods on that front. Shane O' Mac Version 2
HBK has a longer tenure than Taker, but his appearances are probably too sporadic now to qualify. Ironically, despite being retired, I'm pretty sure he's made more appearances than Taker in the last couple of years.
The Curious Orange
Was Jerry Lawler there before Raw? 93 was him against Bret Hart at Summerslam.
NEWM
Was Jerry Lawler there before Raw? 93 was him against Bret Hart at Summerslam. Of course! He came in just at the end of 92 didn't he, that's a good shout.
Paid Members Nick James Posted July 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 20, 2012 Didn't Lawler leave for a year or two in the early 00's though?
Shane O' Mac Version 2
Less than a year in 2001. He left shortly after No Way Out due to his wife Stacy "The Kat" Carter getting fired, and was re-hired following the Survivor Series.
Paid Members Nick James Posted July 21, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 21, 2012 Ahh, I see. Thought it was abit longer than that, Heyman seemed to be on commentary for quite a while.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 22, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 Getting closer to the day, so just want to say I'm done with wrestling if tomorrow night doesn't deliver Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. Never watching it again if they dont deliver. Â They fucking better be on it.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2012 What are the WWE crowds in St Louis like? A NY or Chicago crowd would've helped give this show a special atmosphere to compliment the occasion. Â Orton to show up? His 60 days are almost up, and this is in his hometown. wrestlingmad
The 15th anniversary of RAW is a good watch to get yourself ready for this show. I personally couldn't remember much from the show but it's good fun to look back at! Paid Members niff Posted July 23, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 23, 2012 I'm hoping for a lively crowd. Â I'd be surprised if it isn't. I'm hoping for Barrett, Orton and Batista to all re-appear and Punk to retain the belt. Although I realise the latter is the most unlikely.
