Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 14, 2013 Paid Members Posted February 14, 2013 'cuzza' I can feel the contempt in those single-quotes. It is depressing. I once at a Scotch bonnet whole, being drunk and stupid at a party, and the only thing I can remember about the rest of that night was crippling internal pain, encroaching nausea, and virulent self-hatred. Richie Freebird Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Well, we had the curry I mentioned above last night. 4 of us gathered at our host Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 18, 2013 Moderators Posted February 18, 2013 Interesting. I'd definitely give it a go. I fucking hate crackling, but I love the skin on fried chicken. Quote

Paid Members Dead Mike Posted February 18, 2013 Paid Members Posted February 18, 2013 Interesting. I'd definitely give it a go. I fucking hate crackling, but I love the skin on fried chicken. Where do you stand on pork scratchings then? If you want to get really great tasting chicken skin without deep frying it then take this top tip from Ainsley. Take a chicken thigh, remove the bone & open it up so you've one piece of chicken (a skin side & a meat side). Put a frying pan on a really low heat, no need to add any oil, just place the chicken skin side down. Leave it for about 20 mins (it'll spit a little just don't keep turning it) and then do the other side for about the same time. Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 18, 2013 Moderators Posted February 18, 2013 Not a fan of the scratching; horrible things. That's what I actually meant to say, not crackling. I don't hate crackling. I just don't really like it. Quote
Richie Freebird Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Staying on the theme of borderline chicken dishes, would any of you sink to the depths of this: That Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 18, 2013 Moderators Posted February 18, 2013 (edited) Amazing. That is disgusting.. I'd feel a bit guilty feeding that to my dog. Edited February 18, 2013 by Chest Rockwell Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 18, 2013 Paid Members Posted February 18, 2013 Finally seen something prepared for human consumption that is more unappetising than that Tesco's lasagne sandwich. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted February 18, 2013 Paid Members Posted February 18, 2013 Husband eats 50-year-old chicken Quote
Paid Members Maverick Posted February 18, 2013 Paid Members Posted February 18, 2013 I love looking at the things in the canned food isle in a massive tesco's, breakfast in a tin, a steak in gravy and all that. Really curious but haven't got the balls to try them, anyone partaken in such delights? Quote
MungoChutney Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Was a bit wary of opening this thread as I've started dieting again from today. (Lost 2 stone last year and have regained about 7/8lbs). Then I saw the chicken skins and thought 'oh shit, I need a snack'. All was well once Richie posted that chicken in a tin thingy though, be lucky if I eat dinner tonight now. Quote
