Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) Yeah Daz, that was Mosh as Beaver Cleavage. The Attitude Era gave us some absolute shite, moreso than decent stuff. Fortunately the good stuff was very good and was money. Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted August 28, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted August 28, 2016 I'd like them to keep Mosh/Chaz on, so they can bring back Lo Down, with Jinder Mahal in the Tiger Ali Singh role. It'd be terrible, and yet also the most interesting thing Jinder Mahal will ever do by a long long way.
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 I liked Chaz's entrance music. It always made me chuckle on WM2000 for the N64. Â It sounded like the type of music that would play over the top of a scene in a teen comedy where one of the main characters is billying past a load of his peers to desperately find a toilet after being spiked with an excess amount of laxatives. Musical bowel movements, essentially. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7VIonmrBlrM Â It's gone back to shit again, lads, sorry about this...

Paid Members gmoney Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) Can anyone think of worse tag team champions that the Headbangers? Shite wrestlers, beyond shite gimmick. Edited August 28, 2016 by gmoney
Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 Can anyone think of worse tag team champions that the Headbangers? Shite wrestlers, beyond shite gimmick. I was thinking about that earlier. At the time, absolutely. Since then they have thrown the belts on any old tosh as the belts have mattered less, but even still they've got to be up there with the worst. AshC
Headbangers were proper over winning the belts and defending at One Night Only.
MungoChutney
Fuck you all, I liked the Headbangers and I liked HOG and PIG as well. Give me teams with matching gimmicks and outfits any day over thrown/forced together teams any day. Edited August 28, 2016 by MungoChutney
Paid Members gmoney Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016  Can anyone think of worse tag team champions that the Headbangers? Shite wrestlers, beyond shite gimmick. Aye, The fucking Godwinns!   Henry Godwinn was twice as good as either Mosh or Thrasher. Gimmicky was slightly less shite too. Only slightly, mind.
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 Headbangers were popular in 1997 definitely. They faded very quickly in 1998. Also, worse tag champions than The Headbangers? Step forward some boring arse pre expansion team no one remembers or the bollock awful Shamrock & Bossman title run. Moderators PowerButchi Posted August 28, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 28, 2016 Comparing pre-expansion to 1997 is apples and oranges, massively, and so shouldn't and can't be done.
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 Disagree, but Shamrock & Bossman were still worse.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 28, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2016 Cant imagine its anything more than a one off. Like when Too Cool wrestled on an NXT taping. The Headbangers are shit enough to lose to Heath Slater and Rhino. Â My question is, will they still be wearing those "Real Men Wear Skirts" tees? They were still wearing them in 2000, some three years after the thing was released.
The Clint
Headbangers were proper over winning the belts and defending at One Night Only. Â Almost everyone on that card was over. I put it down to the brits being super excited to see the WWF put on their first UK televised event in 5 years.
