Merzbow
There's a TV show being made based on GLOW, it's being made by the creator of Orange is the New Black which I haven't seen but it seems to be highly rated. SteelChairMag
SyFy is going to be airing a two hour repeat of Raw every Friday, starting this evening. Â Source: Wrestlezone. In the US?
DavidB6937
No reason why it'd be in this country.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted May 21, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2016 Presuming it's the US, seeing as that's the old Smackdown slot on SyFy, isn't it?

Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 21, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Surprised it took this long. Always imagined him going out the way Ted DiBiase Jr. did. Just finding something else to do once he couldnt reach the next level. Edited May 21, 2016 by IANdrewDiceClay
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted May 21, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2016 I genuinely love that some wrestlers now just think 'fuck this, I'll do something else'. Proper heads screwed on, not Zack and Ziggle marks who are not going anywhere until.they're booted.
Sexy Dad
I really enjoyed Cody in 2011-2012, his feud with Rey when he started with that mask in to some later stuff with Big Show which led to quite a featured match at Mania 28 was pretty entertaining. It's a shame he didn't amount to much afterwards. That tag match with Goldust vs The Shield to get there jobs back was probably the highlight of his run...that was actually fantastic. He'll probably come back in a few years.
King Pitcos
Cody only got into wrestling because he failed at acting and modelling, didn't he?
simonworden
Ah good on him, he had a decent run for his time. Was in a prominent stable and in main events against DX, got to be part of bringing back the classic IC title and a fair few mania appearances among some other good moments. Right time to bow out if he wants to start a family.
Paid Members Fox Piss Posted May 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted May 22, 2016 This may be a reach...Kevin Eck (former WWE writer) who came across well on Wade Keller podcast some weeks ago give his take on what Vince thinks of Cody. Maybe it was the confirmation that Cody needed. Eck basically said Vince was never all that impressed with Cody and saw him as midcard and never nothing more.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted May 22, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) Vince isn't wrong there though, is he? I like Cody, he's been a solid hand for many years and has really put a shift into anything given to him (dashing, grotesque, Stardust) but he's probably done all he can. Grecian
Cody was an actor trying to be a wrestler, he always seemed a little forced. The only time I remember him being more natural, it lead to that blinding match with the Shield.
DavidB6937
I was always waiting for Cody to do better. I don't know why but it felt like there was a little something more there, but I was probably wrong. There wasn't anything that could be consistently good at a higher level really.
