There was at least a year's sensible momentum off the back of it.

Ending the streak was the single biggest outcome of a match WWE could possibly do. Getting a little bit of "sensible momentum" (that I'd say barely made it to Summerslam, let alone last a year), out of a result of that magnitude isn't an accomplishment. It just proves JR and Michaels' point even more.

I was at the show in Manchester where he mentioned it, and the impression I got was that he didn't want to do it because he didn't agree with the finish, and it was just a ringside appearance.

I'd had five pints by that point, though...

It was particularly entertaining, people would have questions aimed at Shawn and JR would jump in with his two penneth even though he wasn't asked.

Completely disagree. Brock Lesnar is the single biggest attraction in wrestling and the most believable character around these days because of it. He still has the momentum going from it.

That's not really saying much. The only other big attraction in wrestling is Cena. Could maybe include The Rock but his appearances are extremely rare.

Just heard some Scottish indie (SWE) has announced Chyna to replace Terry Funk at a show in August. What a sentence.

Bit surprised as I was chatting to Demolition for a while at Wrestlecon last week and thought they may be the replacement.

Sweepstake on whether she shows up?

SWE give hundreds of tickets away for their shows to the Cash For Kids charity.

The Rock made an appearance at a house show tonight in Boston, interrupting Bo Dallas.

I wouldn't read anything into it other than a one-off, as he's filming his new movie with Kevin Hart in Boston at the minute. Must've been a class surprise for those there.

WWE have put The Rock's appearance on YouTube now, but the audio quality is well below WWE standard. He was out there for about 18 minutes, and left Bo laying with a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow.

According to 411 Ziggler would find it "hard to walk away" from WWE. Not sure where he goes if he re-signs though. Without the Big Gold Belt he's unlikely to break the glass ceiling ever again.
