The Gaffer
I know most WWE PPV posters tend to be just vague, stylized images of stars who are big at the time of promotion but eh ... Â Â ... this is quite left of field, isn't it? Loony Corporation 2013 spoiler theories or just a downright bizarre poster choice?

C-Rock
I think its James Brown, I know he's dead and it wouldn't make sense even of he were alive but makes more sense than R-Truth being on it but with that said noticed from spoilers he's picking up wins against Curtis Axel and stuff maybe a push is coming for the Intercontinental Title. SSJLogan
Maybe he becomes the new GM of Main Event and books a pre show match between Gabriel and Khali. But really i think thats the strangest poster they've done.

Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted September 4, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2013 Ron Killings doesn't wear suits. This is a conspiracy, a C-O-N... SPIRACY! Â Hopefully he reunites with Miz to get to the bottom of this.
Paid Members ShortOrderCook Posted September 4, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2013 Quit living in the past Cleetus. He used to team with Miz and you should well know that YEWSTA IS A ROOSTER FROM BREWSTA!
Snitsky's back acne
Courtesy of wrestlingobserver.com..... Â Matt Striker talks WWE announcing here. He says no words are banned by WWE but some aren't used. Like you can't call a WWE Title belt a belt. Why? Because a belt is what holds up your pants, and fans WILL BE CONFUSED if you say two guys are fighting for a belt, because they'll ask themselves why two guys are fighting for a clothing accessory that holds your pants up. You think I'm joking.
King Pitcos
That's not news. That's been explained years ago, certainly when Miz was champion he'd explain it in interviews.
CTXRussomark
Yeah and it's nothing to do with thinking the fans would be confused, it's because Vince thinks that the word "belt" devalues the title, whereas "championship" gives it prestige. Don't agree with him but I can see the logic.
d-d-d-dAz
'Devalues' is probably too strong a word, but I can certainly see the logic. 'Championship' DOES sound more grand/regal/prestigious.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 4, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) When I worked in a toy shop, I remember they used to have them marked as "belts" on the system. "WWE wrestling belts" it used to say. People just naturally refer to them as belts. Because they usually tend to go around the waist of the champion. Vince even dropped the term "belt" in a promo last year, I believe. I think he said it during that CM Punk mini feud he had. Paid Members JNLister Posted September 5, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2013 If only there was some sort of phrase that combined "championship" and "belt".
