RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Filmed in Supermarionation is a great documentary if you were into the likes of Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlett as a kid. Goes into a lot of detail about how they come up with the shows, has behinds the scenes footage of the productions and other titbits such as the Thunderbirds movies both being critical and commercial flops when they were released to theatres and that ITV cancelled the show to make way for another Anderson production. I think the DVD is £16.99 in HMV or you can get it on Amazon for just over £20 on bluray packaged with a second disc called This is Supermarionation that has episodes of most of the shows spotlighted in the documentary
Paid Members herbie747 Posted February 14, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 14, 2015 Would love to watch Atari: Game Over - but it's only available on X-Box Live. Despite it being available on the Xbox site for free with an account, nobody can get it working in a browser, and there's no torrent! Â http://video.xbox.com/movie/atari-game-over/4B8575C6-BD05-48E8-92C9-C61BA57E8025(doesn't play on Mac or PC, in Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome). Paid Members Egg Shen Posted February 14, 2015 Author Paid Members Share Posted February 14, 2015 So how do you get it free? It is it in the xbox store?
Art Vandelay
There's 'Earthlings', which is probably the most harrowing thing I've ever watched. Over years, the filmmakers collected tons of undercover footage of what goes on in slaughterhouses, the leather industry and more. I felt ill after seeing it and it's definitely not for everyone, but a very eye-opening film indeed. Â The full thing is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce4DJh-L7Ys
Paid Members herbie747 Posted February 14, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 14, 2015 So how do you get it free? It is it in the xbox store? Yep. And it's supposed to be free on the Xbox website too (via link I provided), but it doesn't actually play - it just buffers forever. Something to do with Microsoft restricting Silverlight permissions after they got hacked.

YA BALDY BASTARD There's a documentary about Joe Joyce? I simply have to see that. It is sensational. The promo's the Joyce clan and the Quinn clan cut on each other are not of this world. sammorgz
Me and my mates had a slight fascination with the Joyce's a fair few years back. Nice to know they're still kicking about. Will check that out, cheers fellas.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted March 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Bit grim this one. Documentary was made for schools and released in 1992. Don't know how it got out in the Public Domain. It's about people who die on the railway lines. All of the dodgy bits have been pixellated out, thankfully, by the uploader. I remember seeing this in school. I repeat, this is GRIM. Â British Rail - "Killing Time" Â Edited March 19, 2015 by bAzTNM#
