I might catch the annoying, groundlessly smug Julia Hartley-Brewer

You might want to give TalkRadio a miss then, she's signed.

Thanks for the heads-up. That's shit.

Looks like I'm going to have to stick with Radio 4 and Classic FM.

Don't mind Lee, will probably give a listen to Galloway, despite despising him, solely based on the recommendations in here.  Why the fuck have they hired the even cuntier Ross for breakfast though?  Him vs. Alan Brazil is like deciding which bollock I would like to have lopped off over my morning cup of tea.

Brazil, 'Midnight Jazz' Nick Robinson and the EU Boot Band, Grimshaw, Evans, Moyles and Paul Ross. Urrrrgh. What a twats gallery that is first thing in the morn. Radio 3 or long wave French stations it is.

I was a massive local radio guy back about a decade ago. Century FM in the North East had a full line up of people I loved to listen to Mike The Mouth Elliot was great. Goffy in the Morning was funny as well.

TalkRadio sounds like exactly the type of thing I'd have been listening to when I was big into radio. The last radio show I used to listen to regularly was Iain Lee's Absolute Radio show. Lee  is usually rotten on television, but he's got radio down to a fine art when he's on form. He's a tremendous host.

I said it before and I say it again, I fucking hate Radio Nova here in Ireland.
It's like sitting down in your nans of a Sunday when you're 6 and your ma and da are off to the boozer, and you're told "Here's Hurricane Higgins playing snooker for 6 hours and after that is Highway to Heaven. You deal with it!!"

That's top. My favourite is a Newcastle fan phoning in and saying something along the lines of:

"I was just thinking about you Mickey (Quinn), you know we haven't had it so good since then?"

At this point the bloke starts tearing up and the presenter goes:

"Awww, you aright mate?"

To which he replies, while openly crying:

"God....(sniff) he scored so many goals!"

Doesn't really do it justice, but would love it if anyone can find audio of that.
