They've also “secured an extra field” to allow for some more weekend tickets to be put on sale on November 5th.
Even I don’t get a weekend ticket, I’m there for that Sunday

Is this a genuine increase of capacity or just a gimmick? It's got an additional parking field too.

Selfishly I just don't want the arena rammed all day TBH

So far as I know, it’s an extra camping field to accommodate a small capacity increase (educated guess of around 2,000-3,000). I’ve not seen anything about extra parking but you would think there would be some extra if they’re upping the capacity slightly

I read something somewhere there'd be a dedicated parking field for camping there and tickets would be restricted to camping there and not in the standard sites (although it also said you'd need to go through Hel camp to get there, so that's surely not going to work). Which is why I wondered if it's standard numbers overall with a new layout or an actual increase.

As long as I don't need to queue too long for a beer or struggle to move around the site I'm happy.

I can’t imagine it being any worse than any other year. Then again, the last time I went I managed to only spend £50 in the whole weekend as we stocked up on food/drink to have at the campsite. Any time we had a break inbetween seeing something we’d head back and eat before heading back again, all of which you can easily do without missing much at all

Apparently there will be no capacity increase, the arena is already as big as they can make it. They are just making less day tickets available and putting the allocation into weekend tickets.

The new campsite is apparently by the camper van area. If you didn't go this year, the camper area has now moved and is in the field next to the main car park. So the new camping area is probably gonna be really close to your car which is quite handy. You can only camp there if you get one of the November 5th ticket too.

Going to Manchester, got a ticket for Standing, which I always prefer m, but I’m also GOING TO MSG! (Standing ticket too). I’m the best kind of emotional wreck right now

This rules man.

Big fan of Ghost since the first record. Lot of memories attached to that one for me.

I got a standing ticket for Glasgow in the artist pre-sale yesterday. Think it was £78 which for an Arena show in 2025 is not *that* bad considering it will be a big production.

Also got a Pantera ticket as an early Christmas present from my wife. My friend and I have been quoting Anselmo from the 101 Proof live album for nigh on 20 years so its going to be pretty wild for us to (sort of) finally see Pantera.

Yeah, Manchester was £82 after fees for Standing, which as you said in this day & age is about as good as it could be.

MSG Standing was split into 6 sections, Pit and A through E. I got into the Pit section and after fees it was $252, which is around £194. Ordinarily I wouldn’t even entertain the idea of paying that for a show, but this is a genuine once in a lifetime opportunity to do this, so I thought fuck it let’s go for it.

Deftones and Weezer have just announced a show at Crystal Palace for late June.

If I don't get tickets I genuinely think my eldest might kill me.

Saw that earlier this morning. Thats going to be an interesting night out

Is it an outdoor show? I’m a massive Deftones fan and have seen them countless times but I’ve never enjoyed them any of the times I’ve seen them outdoors/at a festival. They’ve always seems really lacking to me compared to normal indoor shows.

It is, and completely agree. Them at Download 2006 was one of the worst shows I've ever seen.

I’ve only ever seen Deftones at festivals and they’ve never failed to not be the most boring act of the weekend (See also Queens of the Stoneage)
