To be fair at the front of that is one of his own children, who's been on the end of death threats and calls to take his own life from "fans" after speaking up.

I've seen a few people kicking off because it's not the full band now. Obviously Chester, but the drummer didn't want anything to do with the reform and quit, and now the guitarist has announced he'll only be doing writing and studio stuff and won't be playing live with the band anymore.

Given the timing after all this blow back around the Danny Masterson connection it feels like it's much more likely to be related to that. Which i think is fair.

Thinking about telling my 2001 self that in 20+ years, Linkin Park will reform with a new singer. That singer will have to immediately release a statement justifying their previous friendship with Hyde off of that 70s show.

My point was more that you can imagine being one of those bands members (who I'm guessing has a pretty comfortable life and doesn't desperately need the tour money) seeing all the media around this and thinking 'fuck it, I don't need this shit' and bailing.
