Sphinx
Â I really recommend their album Hottest New Group In Jazz. They were a vocalese group, so they'd take jazz standards and add vocals to them. Â I was first introduced to them via Joni Mitchell's cover of their song Twisted on her Court And Spark album (which I also highly recommend). Paid Members John Matrix Posted February 13, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 13, 2014 As referenced in a post earlier today, the Eliminator theme from Gladiators complete with song lyrics. A real treat if you, like me, had never heard it before. Â "Giiiiiiiiiiiiiive it your BEST. You can WIIIIN!, you can pass the test!" Â This is not suitable for work in as much as you are likely to head to the nearest shopping centre upon hearing and attempt to run up the down escalator.
