The Song Of The Day Thread

I really recommend their album Hottest New Group In Jazz. They were a vocalese group, so they'd take jazz standards and add vocals to them.

I was first introduced to them via Joni Mitchell's cover of their song Twisted on her Court And Spark album (which I also highly recommend).

- genius visionary, or visionary genius?

It's that time of year.. Ebenezer Electric, No. 1 Christmas album!

It's also that time of year that I make a late run with the power brokers of the forum to be a political appointee as Poster of the Year... bigged up Millard? Check. Posted Bruce Haack for Chest? Check.

Superheroes and Christopher Nolan are pants. Be nice to women. Bears are sexy. Tats are gay. Beer and dogs.

As referenced in a post earlier today, the Eliminator theme from Gladiators complete with song lyrics. A real treat if you, like me, had never heard it before.

"Giiiiiiiiiiiiiive it your BEST. You can WIIIIN!, you can pass the test!"

This is not suitable for work in as much as you are likely to head to the nearest shopping centre upon hearing and attempt to run up the down escalator.

Alan Tam - Midnight Rider

If you do listen to this, and you like it, you're probably a gaylord.

I'll leave it to you to decide which camp i fall into.

Holy living fuck, that's the best thing I've ever heard. That's going in my car.

Edit. Actually forgot that I came in to post this:
