My most local team Sholing have got to the FA Cup First round proper and have drawn Salisbury which is a good draw for them, and winnable. Anyway, when a colleague who supports them said it's a shame they didn't draw a big club, and I replied "yeah Leicester would've been good" and he quipped "I said a big club" which goes to show just how far they've fallen in such a short space of time. Mr_Danger Posted Sunday at 01:53 PM Posted Sunday at 01:53 PM Spurs at home to Palace, away to Leeds and home to Ipswich in the next three. I’d lump on them not to win one. It’s almost the only time you can predict a Spurs outcome is after a big win. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted Sunday at 03:56 PM Author Members Posted Sunday at 03:56 PM I feel so sorry for Michael Carrick, absolutely not his fault and he's a good lad. Hilarious game, but I really feel for him, he looks broken there. He shouldn't have been given the job. Gary Neville can fuck off as well. He's such a cunt. Quote

Having said that, it'll never happen, but he really shouldn't commentate on United games as he doesn't even commentate, it's just a mental stream of consciousness. "I can't believe what I'm seeing here and it's getting worse the fans are angry, confused, angry, I thought there might be a change and there hasn't been, this is Manchester United, the fans are getting angry, Michael Carrick, made your point, Bruno Fernandes, this is Manchester United, angry fans, confused" etc Proper shit commentator. Paid Members mim731 Posted Sunday at 05:21 PM Paid Members Posted Sunday at 05:21 PM Hard not to feel for Carrick. That job is a proper poisoned chalice. Hopefully he'll get a cushy payday out of his inevitable sacking. Conte next? Bryan Ferry loves the drama. Quote
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM Paid Members Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM I’d love Conte to come tbf. I’d love the drama and we need a bit of a psycho in as manager. 18 minutes ago, SuperBacon said: Proper shit commentator. He was so good as a commentator and pundit when he started out. A breath of fresh air. He is horrendous now. I think there being too much Gary Neville on football has been part of the problem. Quote
lanky316 Posted Sunday at 05:43 PM Posted Sunday at 05:43 PM I want Neville to stay in the role for many, many more years. He's shit, but fucking hell the rest of the commentators/pundits they have are even worse. Quote
Briefcase Posted Sunday at 05:46 PM Posted Sunday at 05:46 PM Gareth Southgate or Eddie Howe to replace Carrick. Quote
Gooner Posted Sunday at 05:56 PM Posted Sunday at 05:56 PM Another good, solid win for us yesterday. I'm pleased for Konsa to score his first goal in our colours and in the process scoring our first goal from a corner this season. We were rarely threatened or got out of second gear, but the second goal through Gabriel made the last 20 minutes that much more comfortable. We probably will change the whole team for the game away on Tuesday at Fleetwood Town, go get a positive result and then I'm really looking forward to rocking up to Anfield next Sunday and putting the final nail in any hope they have of taking our title away from us this season. We need someone to give them a kick up the arse. We’re crying out for that. Someone to shape them up. Ole, Carrick etc were too nice for that. The closest we’ve had with that were Van Gaal and Mourinho. Won trophies but with uninspiring football. Although I’d rather have Jose now. The only plus of Eddie Howe is Jason Tindall. Actually shows passion on the touchline. He’s got that side that Howe lacks. Quote

Mr_Danger Posted Sunday at 07:41 PM Posted Sunday at 07:41 PM I reckon that Ineos gimp gets as far as being called a cunt by Conte in Contes first face to face meeting and they quickly usher in Eddie Howe to bring my #HoweByXmas prediction in on schedule. Quote
