Scott Parker and his LADSLADSLADS jumpers taking charge, along with World War I captain Mark Noble. And because he's been mentioned, I'm legally obliged to share the funniest tweet ever (sorry, it was before it became the hellscape)

Good move by West Ham, can get a team promoted, knows the club, I still expect them to be automatically promoted.

As a Bournemouth fan can never forgive Parker for that humiliating 9-0 defeat to Liverpool, as long as he don't come near Dean Court again unless he's the opposition happy for him to be far away from us.

This thread (and board) really needs a @PunkStep and @Steve Justice return.

I haven't posted here in quite a while, but still lurk occasionally. Nice to know I'm not just remembered for my shitting exploits.

I'm not sure I can add much to the discussion anymore though (not that I really added much before). My relationship with Arsenal has changed. Mostly relating to Thomas Partey. I couldn't enjoy watching the team with him in it, and the club then offering him a new contract amidst all the allegations really left a bitter taste in my mouth. I made the decision to no longer support the club, but I still support the team. I cancelled my membership (and let them know why), I don't buy any merchandise etc. But I still watch the games (illegally, obvs) and enjoyed the prem win.

I'm off! See you in a couple of years.

Totally understand your stance on the club. I broke my relationship with United over Ronaldo and Greenwood and the treatment of the women's team.

Great to hear from you. Wish you'd stick around, but I hope you and yours are well xx

What a bonkers game last night. Felt like it was absolutely cursed for most of it. Awful in the first half with Roma seemingly able to cut right through United midfield with minimal effort. Gave away a penalty, Baleba went down injured, Bruno took a terrible penalty which missed, Mbuemo one on one with the keeper and somehow managed to hit both posts without the ball crossing the line...

Total lifeline with Bruno being able to re-take the penalty and it just seemed to completely change the game. Yoro played so well, Mainoo is just a lovely footballer and Cunha reminded everyone what he is capable of when he is on it (which is far too infrequently). Another feather in the cap for young Shea Lacey as well who will surely start to feature more and more.

Very reminiscent of the comeback against Lyon which also started with a Bruno penalty.

I would have bet the house on Roma winning, Villa winning and Carrick being out of the door Monday morning of the break. Now I am not so sure.

Scotty Parker's cardigan collection is out of storage this morning. New gaffer at West 'aaaaaam. Genuinely feels like a match made in heaven. An aside but in the things you forgot happened category, the story about him being linked with the Hammers reminded me that he was the FWA Player Of the Year in 2011. Mental.

Presumably there are two things you can do about it...
