Doog Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Orton's run up to WrestleMania, before the heel turn, was decent to be fair. He's a lot more fun when hes just out there not giving a shit and having a laugh. If we get more of that Orton, im all for it. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted August 3 Paid Members Posted August 3 Is that ACTUALLY what Baron Corbin looks like now? They've put him through the Moxley poster filter! Quote

We've had enough of the ultra serious, brooding enforcer type character, he's funny, got some charisma and likes to have fun, hes quite infectious with it too. Maybe not the stinkface part, but absolutely lean in to that and the other Rikishi stuff, not everyone needs to be ultra serious all the time. Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted August 3 Paid Members Posted August 3 (edited) Weirdest part about the Baron Corbin match was Michael Cole listing what I’ve since discovered is Corbin’s shoot success in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He was banging on about how Corbin is a, “legit bad ass,” who’s won all these grappling tournaments during his absence from WWE. I expected them to incorporate it into a new ring style, or introduce some type of submission finisher, but no. It was the same clubbing forearms and plodding brawling. If anything, it just annoyed me. Sounds like he’d save himself (and us) a lot of wasted time if he locked on a Flying Hell’s Gate or something. Go home early. Whole thing feels like a tragic, desperate attempt to do the Cody/Drew narrative, without any actual evidence to support it. Got sacked. Did nothing in the pro-wrestling space. Came back exactly the same. Went from undesirable to slightly less undesirable when our standards dropped and we needed people willing to work cheap. Edited August 3 by Supremo Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Hey now, He had ONE AEW match, I think. At least a dark match. THat's him paying his dues /s Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I'm just trying to watch the full show now, and amidst googling Baron Corbin to try and find a reason why they might have brought him back and put him in this position, I see he's a close, personal friend and former teammate of Pat McAfee. Pat's inauspicious legacy continues. Quote

Audio feedback where they can ask for specific emojis, or various keyboard short cuts. Just depends what their accessibility choices are really. There's definitely some stuff on YouTube if you're interested! Thanks pal, I watched a little bit this afternoon. Very interesting. I did see a video of a blind chap who thought it was daft because of how much trouble it is but it's certianly possible with the voice descriptions on phones. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted August 3 Paid Members Posted August 3 It never even occurred to me before that they could provide a product for blind people to enjoy. It‘s probably a happy accident, but lovely all the same. I bet Vic Joseph can’t believe his luck when he has to call a Roman Reigns match for the visually impaired. Easiest shift imaginable. ”Some more standing around….slowly pacing back and forth…chewing some oxygen…another monologue…” Quote

My favourite part of the match was the bit where Yachty clearly misses his cue to hit Corbin and both Corbin/Trick kinda just stand there until Corbin loudly calls for Yachty to get in place 😆 Quote
