You know what, you're right, but also to pull on a thread from another topic... it's also become apparent to me how so much of this is pulled from 'proper' sports, and it's only in the WWE context I realise how much of a grift it all is. I think my name is on a brick around the perimeter of the CBS Arena for that matter, and i've definitely got a chunk of Highfield Road turf and a bit of the goal net in a presentation box somewhere. Mine too. But stuff like that is normal in fundraising and it didn't cost £499. WWE was already a grift. Paid meet and greets, ringside seats, travel packages, inflatable chairs, etc. All perfectly acceptable fan experiences. Everything about TKO is another level. It's picking up every penny left on the canvas, literally now, except it's not a penny, it's always hundreds or thousands of dollars. And it's also pushed in everybody's face which is why even a screenshot of Raw looks absolutely miserable. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted July 14 Paid Members Posted July 14 With 2026 being the year where Seth Rollins continuously draws comparisons between himself and Will Ospreay, it was interesting to see how tickets shifted once they were both announced as headlining their respective Summer shows. Seth shifted more, just a shame he shifted them negatively, with people seemingly getting refunds. Quote
