SoloJones Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I don't really pay attention anymore, but how long have they fucked off the Night Of Champions gimmick for? Because that's currently four matches with only one Championship being defended. Quote

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 17 Paid Members Posted June 17 Night of Champions(hip contender matches) Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Bron is technically a champion but he's not defending the tag belts. Gimmick ppvs are absolutely useless. And night of champions was always a silly ppv. One of the lesser known WCW concepts they stole. Quote
The King of Old School Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I'm guessing a 3 way with Cody, Gunther and Sami to be added as the main event, and that will be that. Quote
The Dart Posted June 17 Posted June 17 The King/Queen of the Ring is a championship, to be technical. Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted June 18 Paid Members Posted June 18 (edited) I hadn’t realised this was on the same weekend as AEW Forbidden Door. They should feed this information into ChatGPT. Explain that they’re counter-programming. Inject a bit of spice and effort into the booking. In the current climate, with WWE in desperate need of some fresh faces at the top of the card, the potential of Oba Femi vs. Je'Von Evans in the King of the Ring Finals is extremely encouraging. You wonder if the optics of that is the very reason they’ll book it. Proof that they’re finally pushing new, young talent. Can’t think of any other points Triple H might be trying to make booking those two in the final. Any allegations he might be trying to disprove. Edited June 18 by Supremo Quote
DazzM Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I saw someone say it'd be better named "Night Off, Champions". Quote

Paid Members Kamran Posted June 27 Author Paid Members Posted June 27 The countdown show begins at 4pm with the main show starting at 6pm: Quote
DavidB6937 Posted June 27 Posted June 27 In their current mood, Jey is winning it and it's going to be shit. Oba should obviously win it. Also knowing them they'll have Sami win now after they've had far better opportunities to do so. Or hopefully someone "accidentally" locks Hunter in a toilet and someone else has to book. Quote
