100% this. It's a waste of everyone's time. Especially as you said, when you're backing yourself and interview well, but it's really just a box ticking exercise before the person who does the job gets it anyway.

I can't remember if I've posted about this before, but any public sector workers, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Competency Based Interviews - How bollocks are these? Basically just rewarding people who can talk the talk, and quite often be the best bullshitter. I know of people who have gotten roles who just made up their examples and rehersed them. Public sector role hiring annoys me so much because it's rarely built on merit, but purely on those that who can hit the absolutely tosh STAR method. Oh, and don't get me started on the need to advertise roles, that people are actually seconded to then interviewing for them knowing fine well who's going to get it...

And when did we stop using ~?

I've only recently started posting sporadically again. Used to post quite a bit on my @Dazz account, but have lost access to it. Can't believe looking at that profile that it was as long ago that this I started here. I've seen tons of forums come and go in that time, yet the UKFF keeps going. Kudos. It's actually one of my primary sources for news/info/thoughts in Wrestling, even though I don't get as much a chance now to watch as I'd like.

One thing I've always said, it might not be the most spectacular entrance, but thinking back to Ludvig Borga, I loved it. Music plays. He walks out, no messing around or posing, walks up the stairs, through the ropes, pounds towards his opponent and just gets started. No faffing around. Does what he needs to do, then leaves. Fantastic.

It's one of my biggest annoyances in modern wrestling. Not having a plan for your show is a terrible way to run your business. Hell, just have a fake main event booked and play the "card subject to change" card.

Quite telling that the show was on Monday and there's been nothing discussed. Just goes to show that it was a bit of a none event, car park incident aside.
