I'm confused, why are they marketing it as "Calash in Paris"?

It’s a metaphor. You’re getting what they’re serving, not what you want.

Apparently over 30,000 tickets have been sold for this, it will be airing this Sunday from 7pm in the UK.

Yeah so I only discovered earlier yesterday it's on on a Sunday at 7pm not Saturday as normal.

What's the reason for this stupid switch surely it's going to massively impact on people watching live even at this time being a Sunday

They're counter programming Countryfile.

Why is it?

It's not. He's talking shite. WWE ppvs were always on Sundays. Saturday was a recent development. Also it's on Netflix. So you don't have to watch it live.

It's not like its even Sunday night 1am like we like used to have for 30 odd years

Sunday at 7pm is surely about as good a time as any for UK fans to watch live isn't it?

Bizarre statement to suggest Sunday at 7 will impact viewing numbers

Only reason I can think they have it on a Sunday is that today is the first real Saturday of College Football, and the NFL pre-season is over leaving tomorrow open from an American point of view. Which is what they still care about most.

This is the correct answer. First day of college football is massive and it's Ohio State v Texas tonight which is about as big as it gets. It will do tv numbers that wrestling could only dream of, so you don't want to be putting on anything against that. College football a bit like wrestling loves a story and the one been told tonight in Ohio State v Texas makes the Bloodline saga look like a Tik Tok video. Arch Manning is starting QB for Texas. His grandad was a 1st round pick in the NFL draft, as was his uncle Peyton. His other uncle Eli was a number 2 pick in the draft. Stories in football don't get better than this really and Sheamus v Rusev and Becky Lynch v Nikki Bella are not putting a dent in that.

Peyton and Eli were both 1st overall picks.  Old Archie was a 2nd pick.

I genuinely looked away from the screen for a second during Cena’s celebration and thought this run had taken an even crazier turn!

An enjoyable enough show, carried by a great crowd, but it’s beyond parody at this point. Pairing Becky and Seth up on TV again, despite them having the worst chemistry of any couple ever. Presumably bringing AJ Lee in. All so Seth Rollins and CM Punk can continue the longest, worst feud of all time.

If nothing else, won’t someone think about what this is doing to CM Punk? The longer this goes on, the worse he looks. Man looks like absolute shit. If this is still going on by Survivor Series I predict mutton chops.

I did the exact same thing! ?

I enjoyed the show, I liked that they made some effort with the staging rather than just a screen, seemed like a good atmosphere.

Some random thoughts:

- I thought the Reigns/Reed match went on for too long, but I did enjoy that beatdown after.

- Are we finally splitting Street Profits? There was some dissension there at the start of the match, if Ford goes on a singles run I can't see Dawkins sticking around much longer.

- Is it me or did Rusev get hardly any reaction? It felt like Zelina Vega levels of apathy. I really enjoyed the match though!

- Great reaction for Cena, I thought the match was pretty good too.

- I didn't think there was any risk of Rollins losing the title but I was wondering who would come out for the save, I didn't even think of Becky but she was rumoured to be part of the faction when it began.
