Paid Members Supremo Posted February 13, 2025 Paid Members Posted February 13, 2025 Heard a suggestion that Ricochet threatens to cut Swerve’s robe with his Big Gold Scissors, and it’s Hangman who makes the save. Imagining it in my head, with Hangman's old music hitting, the good in him returning, I nearly wept. I think we’re back. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 13, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted February 13, 2025 MJF's comments about Hangman basically being a phony, trying to be a tough, scary evil bad guy is interesting because that's basically what MJF is doing too. Both men are putting up facades and I hope that element plays into it in the future. Yeah, I think they might have captured magic with these two lads. Quote

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 13, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted February 13, 2025 A great Max Caster promo at the end of this. He's ace! "This is forever...well, as long as I renew it this is forever". Quote
Chili Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 While we're here on Caster, I have had a brain fade, what happened to Bowens again. Has he been about since The Acclaimed dissolved? Also not defending Tony Khan, but I do like seeing in places that he's been more hands on with recent booking as the product has taken an upturn, but he also needs to delegate because he's booking too many shows etc. Quote

Wouldn't mind seeing him get hurt somehow making the save for someone and having maybe 6 weeks or so off. Then does the big 'Stone Cold' type return with the old music...the roof will have gone for a Burton in double quick time!! Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 13, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted February 13, 2025 However and whenever he makes that big turn back to being Hero Hanger I just hope Omega gets involved at some point. Omega is yet to come across Evil Hanger and I think the change in roles/personalities would be very interesting to see interact. Quote

When they add text back to his entrance plate, that’s when the circle is complete for me. I thought it was a great show and there was even a Willow sighting, so hopefully she will start getting involved soon. Quote

Don't book ROH. I had vowed to myself not to bother with AEW until Moxley lost the belt, but I'm being drawn in by the force of your lot's enthusiasm. I think I'll get stuck back in. Quote

Yeah get back in, even the Mox story has finally had some stabilisers attached to get it far more tolerable at the moment. Quote
Chili Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 Not at all related to AEW TV but I saw this and I don't know why, but it doesn't matter really, delighted she was getting a paycheck. Quote

And I asked even IF Tony Khan paid her lawyers, or the money she was paid she used on lawyers, so what? Like what matters more, that Rita finally feels some peace by trying to bring this to court and getting some kind of vindication, or that it makes Vince looks bad, as if he hasn't been able to do that already. That doesn't even factor in that why would Tony Khan be trying to fund this to kick Vince out of the WWE when the early success of AEW was mainly because of Vince's booking/running of WWE being awful. Make it make sense! Quote
The King of Old School Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 (edited) That Harley/Mercedes guitar segment on Collision was one of the worst I have ever seen. Edited February 14, 2025 by The King of Old School Quote
