Yeah top notch wrestling telly that. Felt absolutely packed. Full of top stars, loads of stories and characters, good in ring action and crowd interaction. Not much more you could ask for really.

Austin Gunn is a really great wrestler.

Mox shouldn't be losing to old man cope. Under any circumstance. But he hasn't really lost since he unretired so he's probably winning.

I feel exactly the same. The best route to take might be for Copeland to win, then lose the belt immediately to Christian, but if that leads to another feud between the two…I’m not sold.

On a more positive note, the women’s division in AEW continues to be strong, and I genuinely wouldn’t care if they sacked off half the men and had their female wrestlers take up the majority of the show.

Harley Cameron is fantastic, Storm is brilliant, Mariah May is doing well in her role as champion, Mercedes is wrestling great matches, Statlander is really good, Megan Bayne looks promising - it’s everything the men’s division is not, their women’s division is on fire right now, I love pretty much everything they’re doing.

To be fair, it wasn’t a bad show - it’s just that for me at least, the women’s division is leagues above their men’s division right now.

I don't think Cope is winning. I think there's zero chance of it actually. But who knows? Personally I think they need to resolve the Christian contract deal soon and move both onto new things. Maybe finally do that tag reunion for All In Texas.

I'd have thought Copeland being undefeated would be part of building him up to put Moxley over, no? I've never heard anything about Edge/Copeland refusing to do business before.

I think it’s unlikely to be honest, but if they’re aware that the Moxley thing isn’t working, I think there’s a chance. And it might also be why Christian has the contract.

I’m not sure how hard and fast the rules are with the contract, but perhaps he cashes in mid-match, when both men are down, then takes the pin?

I think it’s more likely than not that he’s unsuccessful in his pursuit of the title, even though he’d be a much more entertaining champion than this version of Moxley.

Moxley has to win. The last few weeks, they've tweaked the D-Riders act and it's looking like something that has legs. There's no way he should be dropping it to a guy who looks completely finished, or to a guy who couldn't even see the main event scene if he stood on a chair and looked out of the top window. Of a Lighthouse. With binoculars.

I'd have put it on anyone a month or two ago but now I'd ride it til Double Or Nothing and go with Darby or Hangman.

I'm still unsure what 'kind' Dustin Rhodes thinks he's the last of. Genuinely.

Going by someone of his social media outbursts, Dustin is one of the most "boomer" wrestlers to ever "boomer" that's still going. Probably thinks something along the lines of he's the last real hard man because the new gen are all soft cocks with their lattes and iPhones and avocado toast. Still does a damn good job with the wrestles though, so kudos for that.

Really enjoyed the last few AEW shows, they seem to be really focused and locked in, with build towards Grand Slam, Revolution and (down the road) All In Texas all coming into play. Less throwing shit at the wall, there seems to be a semblance of a plan now.

I'm going to Grand Slam Australia, flying to Brisbane tomorrow morning. Set to be a fantastic weekend with plenty of Aussie indies piggybacking off AEW, Mania week style. We also got a AEW/ROH special added as a pre-show which is cool. Wish we had MJF but otherwise very happy with how it's shaped up.

I think he means the last of the pre-monopoly territory style old school generation. That's how I take it anyway. All his peers are gone and he's the last one left.

I think it's really obvious what he means. And it might be true. If Jeff Jarrett wasn't running around doing the same gimmick. Typical of their lack of quality control, although they clearly also realise it because they had them interact and Rhodes cut promos in Jarrett's defence and got involved with MJF in Jarrett's defence.

None of it means a great deal in the grand scheme of things. Rhodes will disappear back to ROH again anyway. It's just avoidable sloppiness though.

And to me it wasn't. I'd have assumed it's how you guys have said, but as you pointed out Double J is doing the same gimmick, so it just seemed insane to me that he could possibly mean that. But obviously I must be overthinking it.

What am I saying, it's pro wrestling, of course I'm overthinking.

That Harley Cameron video was outstanding. That Mercedes puppet is hilarious, brilliant lyrics from Harley and then a sharp cut to a great promo. I just wish she was winning.

Maybe I’m just hopelessly optimistic, but I think she just might. Harley is one of the hottest acts in AEW right now, it’s in her home country and losing the TBS belt would free up Mercedes to feud with Toni Storm for the Women’s World title - which is probably the biggest women’s match they can do right now.

Yeah I have to join in how fantastic that Harley Cameron video was. AEW have just kind of got out of a drought period of a few months but something they absolutely got bang on was seeing how much effort Harley Cameron was putting in and rewarding her for it. I even think it's brilliant acknowledging that she's not a super worker and that she's still finding her way. I think it adds to the whole story.

Wrestles, funny, sings, does ventriloquism, speaks different languages. Is there anything Harley isn't a dab hand at? Soldier? Former Miss Universe? The Pat Mustard of AEW!
